Thai Airways A350 flying to MEL in July?!

So is there any news on when this aircraft is meant to arrive in BKK? It is now the 29th and haven't seen any news!

A little birdy's confirmed that the 350 shows in the northern winter TPI for MEL through March 2017.

Expect it loaded into GDS very soon.

Great news!

Out of interest are you able to confirm where the bassinet seats are in the business cabin? Are they at the front in row 11EF? Or is it at the back of the cabin between 19DG?

Both actually. 11EF and 19DG are bassinet locations.

Thank you so much for that info. My folks are flying late Jan/early Feb on 466/465 and it's been tormenting me that I might've set them up for the sliding treatment.

Well, the bird has not been handed over as yet, there was nothing on TG Facebook as hinted above... The bird is NOT on time :-( although because of the time differences, it can still be handed over today as scheduled (it's, 30 August 11:46 in Toulouse right now)...

From Thai Airways Facebook page, 15:00 hrs today (BKK time) was held the delivery ceremony and you can see facebook live event on the page (link: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=884808501625378&id=5414236192 97203)

Currently tracking over India with a scheduled arrival time in approx 3 hours at 9:30am local time.

The A350 logo on the TG homepage markets the new aircraft as "The extra sensation" ... so ... I guess we should be looking forward to it indeed.
