[Works great 12/14 night and 12/15 till now, I finished my "marked" threads to read.]

FT continues to be the slowest major website I've ever seen on the web.
What's today's excuse--hackers, denial of service attack, thread proliferation??? Or just don't know how to run a website?

I have not noticed it slow either from my office computer or from home.

Still requires multiple attempts for me to load most pages. I find myself giving up more often or not. I'm not going to bash the technical folks, but just make the point that -- at some point -- people are going to start migrating away from FT....

Just so everyone knows, we are still investigating the performance issues. Improving site speed and reliability is our top priority right now.

I used to come to FT every day (hmm maybe I was addicted
), now I am dropping in on occasion when I feel patient.....its becoming less and less because the site is barely functional for me. Still not able to get into the Chat room, which I read was the top priority, until I saw this thread.

It's still maddening, isn't it, that they have no idea how to fix these incessant and ongoing issues.
Despite months of these problems (which, oddly enough don't affect other IBBs run on the same platform), I too am still having to click to or three time on every second or third thread to get them to open. Pretty sad, isn't?

However, it I want to make a post it takes quite a while -- and often I have to re-post it after it has timed out.

The amount of time outs I have viewing the site makes it almost unusable. I sincerely hope you can figure out a way to fix it. Thanks...

Is there any solution in site to fix Flyertalk's incredibly slow response time? I have tried to hit the site all morning long as I travel, and this is my first success.
It has been like this, on and off, for over a year now.
