Congratulations to the winners!

I find trying to tarnish Randy with the hint of revenge because of a reversal of a policy he implemented while in his ownership, objectionable, and not respectful of the founder of Flyertalk.

I found his flipping the switch in the middle of the night disrespectful to the posters. This has nothing to do with revenge. I just thought it was ill-advised and not well considered at the time and going on four years later we had the chance to attempt to fix it.

I find his flipping of the switch bold, decisive, and his choice as an owner. Did Randy have ownership partners? Were you one of them?

You, & FT board didn't fix anything. You changed the post counting system. It is fine both ways.

Just going forward, once Carol/IB flips the switch. It cannot easily be retroactive, due to technical issues, I believe.

I see. I think I should wait to fixed the post count. They still working on it. How much longer when they will reactivation the post count.

Bit excited to get going I see..

Would be interesting to see posts counted retroactively.. thousands of posts on the count added overnight to many long time FTers..

That's news to you? You know there are reasons why & how "OMNI" gains its reputation over the years. ;) Some even asked to have OMNI masked, apparently for various reasons. Don't get me wrong. I do read and post in OMNI (mostly in Fluffy though).

[I did (& still do) disagree with Randy when he decided to open up the OMNI-gate overnight years back, but I respected his dictating decisions back in the days.]
