I have a booking with Swiss, ZRH-DXB, business class, originally it was supposed to be a Boeing 777 and I chose a seat.
A couple of weeks ago they sent a mail that the airplane changed and I have a new seat. I check my booking it was an airbus 330 now, and the seat I was given 8A, a throne seat.
I check my booking today, and there is no seat assigned to me, and 8A seems booked.
What should I do? Should I choose another seat? Anyway to get it back?

I am on a flight just under 48 hours from now and went into my booking to see if the seats blocked for HON circle are now open (I know it is more likely 24 hours out, but thought I would try!). Anyway, it will not show me the seatmap, let alone let me switch. I get a message saying 'seat reservations are not possible on this flight.' ExpertFlyer also produces an error when trying to open a seat map. Any thoughts on what this might mean??

Just returned from TLV to YUL with LX.
Sat in 12A on LX-257 TLV-ZRH & then 8A on LX-86 ZRH-YUL.
So both legs in the "throne seat"
I found the extra space to be great when seated or in a lounge position, but I found the footwell to be too tight and did not really sleep great.
I did find a sweet spot in a sort of "Z" position though, and that worked out.
This was my first time flying on LX J class, service and catering were excellent- the seat was pretty good too. Next time I'll try the K seats and see if those are more to my liking

the bulkhead thrones have a larger footwell 4A and 7A
4A (in the small cabin) is usually gone pretty early, next week I am on 7A

Different on the B77W where the solo K seats are thrones. But not all K seats are solo seats.

This would be a great candidate for a thread with a wiki.
I just updated my own notes on the A220 and will post here for sharing.
I also include my other notes which I got with the help of another forum.
A220-100 has only 30" of pitch in all rows except the exit row which is row 10. Source: https://runwaygirlnetwork.com/2016/0...duction-cabin/
A220-300 has 32" in front and 30" in the back. The pitch changes from row 14 included. (There is no row 13). Row 11 has 32" pitch as well, and the exit row in row 12 about 34". Since row 11 is limited recline, row 10 is the last "full comfort" row on the A223.
A220-100: All bad except exit and mabye 1D
A220-300: 1 to 10 OK, 11 almost OK, 12 exit row, 14 to back bad
HELVETIC Embraer : tail Nr HB-JVL to HB-JVR have 112 Seats, HB-JVS to HB-JVV are with 104 seats.
A320 with the new config:
First 4 rows 32"
5th row 31"
Following 4 rows 30"
1st exit row 34"
2nd exit row 33"
Following 15 rows 29"
Last 3 rows 28"
Rows 11 and 12 remain exit row on the A320. The front exit row then has 34 "seat spacing (instead of 35"), the rear exit row remains at 33" pitch. In the" normal "seats on the A320, the seat spacing decreases the further back you go (4x 32 ", 1x 31", 4x 30 ", then Exit with 34" + 33 ", then it goes down to 15x 29" and finally 3x 28 ").
A321 with the new config: The configuration at the exits changes on the A321. The Cabin Attendant Seat (CAS) moves from 9F to 10F, seat 11F disappears. But 12F has almost unlimited legroom ... At door three, the emergency exit row 25 now has a full 6 seats with almost unlimited legroom, but waiting guests from the additional lavatory. Here, too, the seat spacing becomes tighter the further back you go (5x 32 ", 3x31", 46 "at the exit, 8x29", 5x 31 ", 36-61" at the exit, 1x 30 ", 12x 29").
A321:
Rows 11-15 with low 29 "seat spacing in the middle
Here again detailed:
1-5: 32 "
6-9: 31 "
10: Exit
11-19: 29 "
20-24: 31 "
25: Exit
26:30 "
27-39: 29 "
(Thanks Natalie)

it simply amazes my, how inconsitent Amadeus and LH/LX IT is. for an award ticket, I got seats assigned, and flight for tomorrow is full and 1 seat available.
on the LX app, there are still many seats available. This has been showing since 48 hours like this.
Simply do not understand, especially as I worked for airline IT for 28 years. In the previous system LX had (for which we were the provider), such inconsistencies were simply not possible....

Hi, all,
Last year I've booked a flight for me and my family (5 pax, including my 2 years old niece) for next April (GRU-ZRH / ZRH-GRU).
The aircraft is the B-777-300ER and now we are all booked in Business Class for both inbound and outbound fligths.
Any suggestions on which seat to choose for my 2 y. o. niece? Would a window seat be a good choice for her or it is a bad seat for small children?
Since she is a very active little girl, I am considering seat 7K for her, seat 7J for her mother and seat 7G for my brother, mostly because I think it would be better for her NOT to have aisle access. (I also do not know if this would be a security concern for a child).
For me and my mother, I have already selected seats 4K and 4J and we wiil remain with these seats.
Best regards,
Criske

A340-300 economy
Unfortunately flying economy Frankfurt to Orlando return flight. Aircraft has been switched to A340-300 from 747. Originally had an exit row seat, think it was row 32. They have placed me in 16G on new aircraft. How does this colmpare to exit row? It's bulkhead after PE.Haventfound reviews for this row.
