So if I have a reward flight in J flex, do I get throne seat for free at time of OLCI if any are available? Or is that now a "2019 thing" left in the past? (I used the year that was the last time I was in LX J flex and did not rush to pay and lock in a throne seat well in advance)

Does anyone know what these red single seats are on LAX from Zürich to Lisbon? At least narrow economy seats in business class

A220-300 seat map

Nothing special, probably a quirk of the seat map you're looking at, thinking more legroom in rows 2-3, which is not the case.

One of the AC seats in the A223 is kept free in Euro-business, so if you book the C seat you also get the free A seat and vv.

If you're a party of 2 pick the DF combo, the E seat in the middle will be kept free (and is not shown on this seat map).

A220 is single-cabin 2-3 layout, so in Eurobiz the blank spots represent blocked seats (which will be empty in flight), except they don't show the blank column on the starboard side.

OK, so the pic from the airline is totally wrong because the right side actually has three seats, probably D, E, & F, and they only sell D and F...so that's better for couples...might as well have an open seat in between. I'd take 2 D&F from that seat map. I sometimes like the front row to put my feet up, but the mess with the carry on up and down is a pain, plus you never know how far the wall is for the bulkhead, and whether it's too close, just right, or too far.

Some airlines block a seat in front of the cabin (usually in row 2 on the left side) for disabled passengers. I guess this seat has moveable armrest. The seats are released for other passengers when the check in opens.

Correct - this would be a more accurate representation of the physical cabin layout: https://www.aerolopa.com/lx-223

Rows can be designated Economy or Business flexibly based on the load in each cabin; the only difference is that E seats and alternating A/C seats in Business are not assigned or sold.

Another seat pick help request, not very familiar with Swiss this is on the A330-300. I prefer window in Biz so thinking 14A but is it annoying to get by the person in B? Not going to pay for a throne seat. If not window is there a better one amongst the middle D/G?
Thanks!

What about 4DG for husband/wife? I was surprised it’s still available. Alternatively, could do cross isle 4GK.

sorry confused on this response - diagram gray is unavailable which are the ones you’re mentioning. Also this will be solo.

For a solo traveller, 6A is the best seat left, but is a throne so I assume it has to be paid. The next best are 6G (bulkhead so wider footrest) and 12A(window throne). After that there is not much difference between 10D and the 14s, I'd probably pick 14D on a night flight, as it has a table between the seat and the aisle or 14A in a day flight for the window.

If solo and don’t want to pick/pay for throne then take D/G.
except the one close to the toilet (6) as there is a constant traffic there and back.
Mini cabin (4/5) is quieter.
check aerolopa for lx-333

Going to qualify for SEN this year by the slimest of margins (based in YUL so this is not easy!). Anways, do SEN perks extend to bookings made on aeroplan on LX metal? I typically book familly vacations with aeroplan. Would I be able to select thrones for the entire family for example? Does the perk extend to anyone on the same booking? With YUL probably getting the new cabins, this could be an intresting perk in J.

Yes, I've used my Aeroplan points to book LX (and LH) flights and included my HON service card number on the booking with no issues. Amadeus has separate fields for the redemption and status FFN elements, fortunately.
