got the 3-6-9 for up to 18k

Oh well guess there goes another Q w/o any SPG stays, with all of 5 in the pocket doesnt look like I'll be a Plat too much longer, wonder if I'll even make Gold. This Q I got 3-6-9 for 3-6-9k so I gave SPG 0 stays and Marriott 31 which had mega-promo going that net me an extra 35k in pts, so way ahead by not staying at SPG

Then again I'll be requalifying for Plat with Marriott instead and already have Hilton Diamond till 4/09

I went for the nights rather than 20K. It was the Cat 5 applicability that made all the difference. Now to plan where I'll be taking a year-end trip to spend them (Le Meridien Hotel Des Indes in The Hague is sounding good).

Thanks!!

Got two options: up to 3 free weekend nights or up to 20K points. Have already 7 stays booked this summer ^ ^

Thank you for registering for this Starwood Preferred Guest(R)
promotion. Now you can earn 4,000, 12,000 or 20,000 bonus
Starpoints(R) when you stay four, eight or twelve times between
June 1 and August 31, 2007.

Not being a moron I am, of course, taking it.
Same here. . . but I'm not a moron; this convinced me to book my fall business trips at other properties rather than *wood. Not sure when the marketing group will realize that loyalty really does need to be a two way street.

Question Which properties??

Anyone know what properties participate in the promotion?

"...Starpoints may be earned: three eligible stays — 3,000 bonus Starpoints; six eligible stays — 9,000 total bonus Starpoints; nine eligible stays — 18,000 total bonus Starpoints. Stays must be at participating properties between June 1 and August 31, 2007...."

Did not see any link to the properties.

Me too. I doubt I'll register. I only have two stays planned for the promo period. Not enough incentive to book any more.

Well I've got the 4stay for 1 free night up to 3 and 4 for 8, 12, 20 promo.
My problem is I've never cashed in on the stay to earn free promo. Anyone know if that free LM is still redeemable?

I could probably get in 8 stays if I tried.

I'm leaning points but I'm not convinced yet.

so much for being loyal -- this is my fifth year of being platinum, only got the 3 stays for 9k points. although to be fair to spg, in the past i have gotten the free weekends offer when others did not.

no longer need to worry about shifting hilton stays anymore though (5/10/15 promo over there right now)

It's really strange that *wood sends out different offers to the Plats when it's an earnings campaign like this... Why should some of us get better opportunities than others??

I understand the targeted double stays and 50% redemtion etc, but when it comes to earnings I just don't get it..

Not a good idea IMO, and it shows all over this thread

I got the 1/2/3 free nights or 4/12/20k promo for 4/8/12 stays . I chose the free nights as I have some weekend stays at St. Regis Shanghai (Cat 5, BAR $275) coming up in October.

This new promo happens to overlap for 3 days (June 1-3) with the ongoing 4k for 4 stays at 4Points. Are they combinable?

Got the weekend nights/20k promo. Thanks!

Too bad I'll have all of 2 expected stays between the eligibility dates.
