New Q3 07 promo -- multiple variations [Combined thread]
Hadn't seen this posted yet, so have at it - a choice!
"Choose one of the following options:
Earn up to three Free Weekend Nights.
Stay three times between June 1 and August 31, 2007, and get a Free Weekend Night (up to three nights free) when you register by July 15, 2007.
OR
Earn up to 18,000 bonus Starpoints.
Stay three times and earn 3,000 bonus Starpoints®, stay six times and earn 9,000 bonus Starpoints or stay nine times and earn 18,000 bonus Starpoints when you register by July 15, 2007, and stay between June 1 and August 31, 2007"

When I click on the link provided ( www.spg.com/promo ), there is no mention of any specific promos. Here is what I see:
"To register for your Starwood Preferred Guest promotion, please enter your member number."
Then when I enter my SPG member number, it just comes back and says:
"Please check your Starwood Preferred Guest member number and re-enter."
This appears to be targeted.

I didn't get a choice but was offered triple Starpoints® between June 1 and August 31, 2007.

This offer may be targeted, with plats getting only second offer.
IMHO, 18,000 points is better than 3 weekend nights anyway.

I guess it was important for me to get the 20k offer or business was shifting to Marriott. I already have 41 stays, and booked 2 more for May. I guess I will ride this one out for the full 20k bonus points.

But I got there by typing in www.spg.com/promo. I typed in my spg number and received the choice of the 2 promos. Perhaps try again later - and good luck!

Only 9k for 9 stays for me.... that makes two quarters in a row where I haven't been targetted for the main promo but instead I have had to settle for the general secondary promo (whine... whine...). Hopefully the trend will revert soon.

The offer as a Plat that I got was:
Earn 3,000 bonus Starpoints after every three (3) eligible stays up to a maximum of 9,000 bonus Starpoints. Stays must be at participating properties between June 1 and August 31, 2007.
