Westin bed vs W bed
The W beds are 40% off right now. I love the beds at Westin and Sheraton, would I be happy with this one? Are they basically the same? I've yet to stay at a W. Thanks!
Sale goes to Sep 4th.

Westin site has 25-30% off Heavenly Beds. Nordstrom has cheaper shipping and will match if you call.
I'm in for one.

Just did a ton of research and haggling and ended up getting the equivalent of the Heavenly Bed at Sleepy's online. Here's what I did... FWIW.
1. Saw sales for W and Westin beds on the W and Westin websites for 50% and 30% off respectively. Cost for each was $1900 (incl shipping) for the W Bed and $1700 for the HB (including shipping).
2. Researched both beds (on and off FT) and found they they were basically Simmons Beautyrest Beds. The "World Class" model.
3. Looked at Sleepy's and they actually sell the W Bed and have the Simmons line (basically the Heavenly Bed). The W Bed was about $2200 and the Simmons Beautyrest World Class king was about $2200. Both on blowout Black Friday sales.
4. I called Sleepy's and long story short, after haggling, they ended up offering me the W Bed for about $1200 (King) and the HB for $1699.
The $1200 for the W Bed was a great deal. He was matching the 50% off. I went with the World Class as I believe it it the better, more comfy bed. It's close to Simmons top of the line.
5. After haggling more I got what I think is the HB equivalent (Simmons Beautyrest World Class Plush King) for $1699 and I got them to throw in shipping, bed frame, mattress cover, and two tempurpedic pillows, and current bed disposal with the deal. Basically $500 worth. The Black Friday price at the store was $2200 (most they would move is $100). Regular price $4400. I got it plus all the extras doe $1699.
I did haggle for a few days. I did my homework and tested a few stores. I think I could actually have gotten them down in the $1500 range if I pushed it. I purchased online and haggled over email and on the phone.
Gets delivered this week. I hope it feels as good as the hotel.

Just ordered the King HB thru Nordstrom. $1295 for king, +$99 for shipping, set up in my upstairs bedroom, and hauling off the old matress.
Any discounts on the W or Westin pillows and accessories?
