just did the latest update. Now the app no longer functions at all. Redesign for the apple watch killed all functionality on the iPad. My bad for updating.

No longer working for my iPhone 5S after update. The app keeps crashing while loading.

***Update***: had to delete and reinstall the App for it to work. Clearly a bug.

Same situation here - upgraded to new app on an iPhone 5S and an iPhone 6 - app doesn't work on either. Both running 8.2

Thanks for your input. My apologies for any inconvenience, but the developers are working on a fix that they hope to push live soon. Until then, we appreciate your patience with the process.

So following the last update my app was also crashing and I followed your tip re: reinstall. It worked, so fine.

HOWEVER: my keyless settings were gone stating device is unregistered. I went to the website, I manually removed my iPhone from the list of registered devices (I had 2 registered) but I still have no option of re-registering on my current one.
I've tried reinstalling again, but to no avail. The only option I see following the reinstall under Keyless Settings is Unregister Device (even though it already is) - Device Name: (not reg'd), Device ID: (not reg'd), active key connection: NO [iPhone 6, iOS 8.2]

I believe the SPG Keyless function has to be reset on our end for you to be able to re-register the device. If you want to send the details, I can pass it along for review.

Dead for me too !

Frankly this is just really bad QA . It's not the first time that an app update from spg has lead to crashes :-(

It's not THAT hard guys !

New SPG App for iPad & redesigned SPG App for iPhone

Dead for me too, and 40+ 1-star reviews on the App Store. Very frustrating for me since I make many last minute bookings using the app.

I tried the solution noted above (removing the app and reinstalling from the App store) and it's back to life!

In the iPhone app (more > keyless devices) you can unregister your phone as a keyless device (even though it does not appear to be registered). I did this and then re-registered and it now seems fine.

Experienced same issue has others described. On iOS 8.2, app tries to load and crash. Had to delete and install from scratch for the app to work again.

iPhone 5s update was fine. iPad Air update required me to uninstall and reinstall to get the app working again.
