It can take up to 7 business days from the day you qualified for your Lifetime Platinum status to be picked up by the system.

Starwood / Marriott merger
Q : What will happen to my Lifetime Status when the programs merge together in the future?
A : Rest assured we will always recognize your Lifetime Status, whether it is today in your earned program or in the future with a new, combined program.

I wonder if this has happened to anyone else, as there is no way to know how many years you have of each, and frankly, I don't remember how I got my status 10 years ago.
You mean like this on https://www.spgpromos.com/dashboard/site/index?

On the right it tells you how many more Platinum status years needed to get LTP. Sadly I need 2 more years after this year

Not sure how to attach an image.

OK got it. That is messed up. It doesn't even say you have LTG. Guess you'll have to keep it in mind.. for a year Sounds as glitchy as Air Can AQD

I had my 250th night 10 days ago and the email about lifetime gold arrived today.

Last week, my counter also said 0 years and 0 nights to LTG. Today, it says "You're LTG, X Platinum years for LTP and YYY nights."

I thought it was just 10 years of elite status?

To achieve Lifetime Platinum status in SPG, a member has to be Platinum for 10 years and have 500 elite qualifying nights.

1 year at Gold and 9 years at Platinum plus 500 elite qualifying nights would not get it done.

I made it!

I re-qualified for 2017 with my 10th consecutive year as a Plat, to reach the SPG Holy Grail.......Glad it's done because I think there will be some Marriott turmoil moving forward.

You clearly have achieved Lifetime Gold. Why doesn't your dashboard reflect that?

William had it fixed. It now says 1 year to LT Plat.

Guess mine never worked properly so the only number that jumped out at me was the years counter that kept getting closer and closer to 10! Sucks to celebrate crossing a milestone and then finding out you didn't. Joke's on me.

In December I "celebrated" my X9th birthday. The next day a colleague said Happy X8th! I said, thanks, but I'm X9. She said that didn't make sense. I did the math and low and behold, she was right. I was travelling so much, and focused on how close I was getting to X0, that I completely forgot how old I was. So I earned another year!

Think of it another way. You get to celebrate that milestone again next year!! You have a year to plan the great celebratory stay that will help you cross the milestone! Where should we party?

Too funny. I'd love to find out I'm a year younger than I think I am.

I received my SPG Amex in 2013. I have met the $30K spend requirements in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Yet my dashboard shows only two years at Gold status.

How can I get this corrected? Please advise.
