Rack Rate for Deluxe rooms is 14000 THB.
Easiest way to get rack rate info for Platinums - just ask on chat, took me 1 min. only.

The debut offer isn't bad

DEBUT OFFER. FREE UPGRADE TO NEXT HIGHER ROOM CATEGORY.YOUR CHOICE EACH DAY OF EITHER BREAKFAST FOR UP TO 2 GUESTS IN VIU OR A 2 COURSE SET DINNER MENU IN VIU.A VOUCHER FOR THE ELEMIS SPA TO THE VALUE OF THB 1000 PER PERSON..

If you cancel between 02/07/2011 and 6:00 PM hotel time on 04/15/2011, there will be no forfeiture amount
Does this mean for platinum guests breakfast is incl. as a plat. perk, and dinner as a choice of this rate ?
Or does STR not offer free ABF for plat. members ?

i don't think you can tell from the debut rate as it is a special for the opening. It would seem odd to me if the SR was the only Starwood hotel in BKK not offering free breakfast for plats but stranger things have happened.

Will they make the 1 April opening date? BTW will there be a club lounge or similar facility at this property?
