I found this new on the skyteambiz site for TA.
But i wrote a mail to have precisions: they answer today that awards costs 140 000 in eco and 280 000 in biz. No award in First.
And to book, you need to contact Flying Blue...
So it is not a good new as you and me thunk.

There are five distance bands, each with its own price for both coach and business. A call to Delta with a proposed routing should do it.

Regarding the mileage post below, I think for current promo, the max is 24,000 miles. I just asked for a biz or first RTW fare ex-CAI. Hopefully it's affordable!

With VN in Skyteam, it seems we can now fly BKK to SIN via SGN. But does anyone know if the SGN transit can be made without a visa?

Visa required, except for Holders of confirmed onward tickets
for a max. transit [[TIRULES/R32]] time of 24 hours.
Visa Issuance:
- Holders of a letter issued by the Vietnamese Immigration
Department confirming that a visa is ready for collection,
can obtain a transit visa on arrival provided arriving on
Vietnam Airlines (VN). Fee: USD 25.-.
Additional Information:
- International transit passengers through Viet Nam are
permitted to stay overnight in the transit lounge. However,

LON looks to be €772 cheaper for the base fare, but I would have to buy a round-trip ticket to London. And maybe stay a night in a hotel there. And what about LHR taxes? Aren't they higher for business class than CDG?
Anyhow I have too short a time window between an event in Paris and my business trip overseas.

To know about UK fares:
In First, RTW is more than €1600 cheaper...
from France €100 for RT to London (in eco)
I buy all my expensive fares from London: it's always very cheaper.
And, when going to Paris you can go through AMS and earn EQM 7500 more than from Paris (in J)
