It's not really possible to be specific for any location in Germany as the cars move around the country a lot and there are always some being retired and new ones added. That list may not be completely accurate, as the fleet changes frequently. For example, I don't think there are any Golf GTI/GTD in the fleet right now.

Basically, you're more or less certain to have some sort of A3 / 1 Series or A-Class. ;)

1.) Is the return area of KEF near the terminal, or need to walk some distance?

2.) What are the possibilities for classes EDAN (apart from Polo), CLAR (apart from Golf), IDAR (apart from Cruze) & IWAR (ditto)?

3.) Fleet age, on avg how old are the cars?

The Sixt office at Keflavik Airport is located in the next building to the airport. Shuttle service is free of charge and all customers are picked-up, given they have provided the correct flight information. Please look for a sign with your name on it or give us a call on +354-5402221 and we will be right over to pick you up or drop you off again upon your return.

I have contacted my colleagues in Keflavik to request further information regarding the current fleet, and I will update you as soon as I have the relevant details.

The minimum age for PCAR at SEA is 25 years of age. In my experience, Sixt is strict about this as I had a LCAR reserved at ATL two years ago, was less than a month away from turning 25, and was denied the rental by the system.

Thx, pls also ask them what are the possibilities for FFAR apart from Chevy Captiva.

Is there any chance of making a reservation for a, lets say, AUDI A4 (or similar)? I can't take a chance of getting stuck with an A3 or something in that size catagory.
I simply need a bigger car, and I can afford the price if there was an option for that.

Further to my initial reply, I have received details of the current fleet in Keflavik Airport, and I have been informed that they currently only have one vehicle in each category (the example vehicle that is shown online).

I have just sent you a photo of my Amex Platinum card along with my Sixt Express number. Unfortunately I only discovered this thread now on a Saturday morning, and I will be flying to Las Vegas and renting a car on Wednesday night. Can Gary (or anyone else) tell me how long it will be before I can access the benefit/discount associated with upgraded status?

Hi Gary, it would be at SEA, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in September. It sounds like online there would be a $49 fee for a week-long rental, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

Again, being 23 and with SEA being a corporate location, you will not be allowed to rent PCAR.

Hi Sixt folks - I have applied the Sixt membership recently, how can I match a higher tier of your membership? Right now, I'm holding the HHonor Diamond status. Thanks.

I understand and saw the chart, but even with my account with my age it lets me go through the reservation and simply notes I may be subject to an underage charge. Guess I'll stick with Avis and my company AWD which allows me to rent whatever I would like.
