10 days or 14 days
I was very happy with my last two rentals in FLL and MIA , Florida. I have another coming up in Orlando. Not sure if I'll need the car for 10 days or 14+ days.
Should I rent it for 10 and keep it longer if needed, or should I rent it for 14 days , and risk getting a higher rate if I return it at 10 days, which is earlier than the original agreement? |
as long as you don't use the prepaid option, it doesn't matter

Thanks for your patience whilst I await further information regarding the XCAR category at Las Vegas. The branch have informed me that they will not receive the delivery of this class until around the 15th of March and are unable to specify which vehicles they will receive in this class until they are delivered. Gary, could you comment on how long it typically takes for a rental charge to show up on a credit card? My rental began on March 1 and was returned on March 8, but as of yet nothing appearing on my credit card and no confirmation even of the car's return (we returned after normal opening hours for the location). Just want to make sure there aren't any problems or other issues I need to be aware of. Thanks.

Thanks for your post. The time it takes for a rental charge to show on your card statement depends on the speed at which your card issuer processes the transaction. This usually shows within a few days, but can take longer on some occasions or if the vehlce is returned on a weekend. Further to my previous post, I can confirm that the Liberia International Airport is a mett and greet service. The branch deliver the vehilce to the airport and meet you there with the keys and rental paperwork. I've used Sixt @ FLL and thuroughly enjoyed my rental experience. I'm hoping I repeat that when I go to Madrid in June! I have a question regarding my rental in Madrid. My reservation says "Mercedes-Benz Clase A Aut. Sedan (IDAR) or Similiar". What would similiar be at Barajas? Thanks! |
I've had an Audi A3 Sportback 1.6 TDI DSG before from there in that class recently.

Does Sixt do a price match? I've had nice experience so far renting with Sixt, and I'm taking a trip to Ireland in August and would like to rent with them but I just priced up a car and Sixt was almost 200 euros more than another car service for the exact same car.

So I am new to Flyertalk and just came across this thread. I am trying to rent a car with Sixt in Bristol, UK. For some reason, the reservation system would not show any offers. I am guessing this is because there are no available cars for the date I am trying to book. Can any of the Sixt Company Representatives here check what the problem could be? I am trying to book a car from 25th Mar to 26th Mar in Bristol, UK. |
