Hi Gary,
I have rented several cars with Sixt in the last years. The last car was BMW M1 during last November at the Frankfurt Airport At the airport desk I was told that I have a member card with Sixt and that my card will be sent to my home address. I haven't received the card until now and since i want to get a quote from Sixt for my next flight in two weeks time, I would be happy if you can help me receiving my member number. The only branch that is open on the day you wish to collect the vehilce is Zurich airport. This location does not have staff available to deliver vehicles or collect customers. The branch in Zurich downtown would be able to collect the vehicle on the Monday, however as they are closed on Sundays no delivery or collection is possible in this area on that day. Hi, I booked a car at Palma Mallorca for a week in April. My flight dates have been changed. I have tried to rebook but my credit card has changed since my original booking, is there any way round this? Also the amount for the rebooking was considerably higher than my original booking, is the amount I have to pay the difference between the first booking and the the rebooking figure?

I had a reservation last week, and I got the receipt yesterday. When I got to the counter, I got a VW Beetle, and decided to pay the $40 to upgrade to a Jetta -- when I returned the car, the rep said something about the car already being "closed" (a warning sign, I suppose). When I got the receipt, it showed the Beetle -- returned empty at 9pm (I was on a transatlantic flight at that time...). The receipt was over $300 -- twice what my rental should have cost. I returned the Jetta full at 10 a.m. I'm getting up to more than 40 minutes on hold, and I just want to speak to someone about getting this fixed... The reservations line answers instantly, but customer service takes 40 minutes? :-( Edit: Looking closer, this Beetle that I never had was returned at *9* pm on Sunday... a full day after I left the States. I can prove I filled the Jetta (gas station receipt), that I had the Jetta (registration form from my hotel), and that I left the U.S. on *Saturday.* I finally reached someone at Sixt, but there was no resolution, he can't get a hold on anyone at the rental branch... This is one of the most ridiculous things I've had happen while renting a car. It really feels like something unkosher is going on. |
Nevermind, after an entire evening wasted on the phone, they managed to fix it...mostly..

Although my 1/2 day rental for an Mercedes A series was uber expensive, Your staff in Zurich downtown 3 pfingerstrassea???? need to be commended. They went out of their way to set nav in English and program in a new route that nav didn't not about that avoided downtown traffic. I will use Sixt again in MIA ORD and for future Euro trips. Thanks again to your people for making my business trip a success.

I have checked with my colleagues in America and they have confirmed that you can use your SunPass on your rental vehicle. However, as this is registered to a specific vehicle you would need to contact SunPass to transfer this to our vehicle for the duration of the rental and then back to your own vehicle once the rental has ended.
