Book the Cook Business Class Suggestions

Any reason why SQ970 (SIN-BKK 1st Flight) doesn't seem to offer BTC? Or more specifically doesn't offer a full range of BTC.

I'm assuming it's an early morning flight? Maybe that's why it only offers breakfast options? Worse comes to worst, just put a call in to SQ and get it resolved.

i also suspect it is because it is a breakfast flight hence only bf options are available

What on earth kind of excuse is a medical reason for needing to eat at such a specific time? I cannot think of one. Please do tell.

Don't expect it to taste like lobster.

Likewise, "dim sum" would not taste good on a plane, as it cannot be re-heated properly. You need steam.

People should go with a Singaporean meal, for obvious reasons.

Another vote for the Lobster Thermidor! It was fabulous! I had it on SQ600 SIN-ICN November 15.

Just an update- a call to SQ confirms that for SQ970 in particular the BTC menu is limited to Breakfast options. No such issue on SQ972 and later SIN-BKK flights.

Will need some recommendations for BTC on the following flights:

HKG-SIN (Dinner): Beef Tenderloin, Butabara Shogayaki?, Grilled Fillet of beef, Roasted Tasmania Salmon, Oven Baked Cod Fish, Pan Fried Seabass?

MEL-SIN (Supper) : Chicken in macadamia nut crust, grilled beef, indian lamb shank curry, pan-fried barramundi, seared salmon escalope, toasted multigrain bread (for supper?), lamb loin in curry?

Thanks for the recommendations!
Recommendations guys... please?

In J from SIN-ICN, what would the difference be between a supper service on SQ608 (0010 departure) vs a lunch service on SQ602 (1455 departure)? Any pre-arrival meals for both flights (i.e. breakfast on SQ608)?

I am also looking for recommendations on HKG-SIN for BTC. Lots of choices but nothing which really catches my eye.

The picture below was taken 28 December 2013 on SQ970 SIN-BKK
My wife ordered Dim Sum and was looking forward to it but gave it a disappointing 5 out of 10.
