Any reason why SQ970 (SIN-BKK 1st Flight) doesn't seem to offer BTC? Or more specifically doesn't offer a full range of BTC.

I'm assuming it's an early morning flight? Maybe that's why it only offers breakfast options? Worse comes to worst, just put a call in to SQ and get it resolved.

Likewise, "dim sum" would not taste good on a plane, as it cannot be re-heated properly. You need steam.
People should go with a Singaporean meal, for obvious reasons.

Just an update- a call to SQ confirms that for SQ970 in particular the BTC menu is limited to Breakfast options. No such issue on SQ972 and later SIN-BKK flights.

Great thread and my first lobster thermidor was a result of this thread. Loved it! Thanks for all the great recommendations esp ex-SIN. ^
Will need some recommendations for BTC on the following flights:
HKG-SIN (Dinner): Beef Tenderloin, Butabara Shogayaki?, Grilled Fillet of beef, Roasted Tasmania Salmon, Oven Baked Cod Fish, Pan Fried Seabass?
MEL-SIN (Supper) : Chicken in macadamia nut crust, grilled beef, indian lamb shank curry, pan-fried barramundi, seared salmon escalope, toasted multigrain bread (for supper?), lamb loin in curry?
