To kick off the wiki on the new main lounge thread I added a brief overview of the MH lounges at KLIA.
I invite others to add relevant info on location, access requirements and opening hours.
Globalist
All the Malaysia Airlines lounges at KL International Airport (KLIA) have now been reopened after renovations.
Malaysia Airlines has 3 lounges at KLIA.
The KLIA Domestic Golden Lounge.
Located in the domestic terminal for domestic departures, towards the 'A' gates. Open 5am-12am.
The KLIA Regional Golden Lounge
This lounge is located in the main terminal building for international departures. Open 5am-12am.
To access it use the escalator near the Aerotrain platform between the G and H pier.
This lounge is airside and accessible for international departures only,
The International Golden Lounge at Satellite KLIA
This is the largest lounge, and is located in the Satellite Building on the 2nd floor above the Aerotrain platform there. Open 24hrs.
It features a Business class section and a separate 'Platinum' area + dining room for Enrich Platinum, OWEs & MH Business Suites passengers. (There is also a small First Class Suite area on the Platinum side for MH Business Suites passengers.)
This lounge is airside and only accessible by passengers allowed into the international zone.
Arrivals access has now changed, as noted earlier this post and now explicitly in MHs FAQs, to now only be available to *Business Suites* (i.e. F) or Enrich Platinums + 1 guest: https://www.askmh.malaysiaairlines.c...al-destination
This lounge may also be used as an arrivals lounge by passengers arriving on MH flights who either flew MH Business Suites / Business or hold Enrich Platinum / Gold status (not applicableto OWE / OWS).
I invite others to add relevant info on location, access requirements and opening hours.

I arrived on that 1 week grace period (first week of March). Lounge agent didn't inform me anything about the discontinuation of this service then. That's a bummer about the arrival lounge service. It's one of those benefits that differentiates MH from the rest around the region.

Essentially only Enrich Platinum members get access on arrival (Int, Sat & Dom), nothing for Enrich Gold or Business/BSuites passengers. (Apparently Lifetime Plats get +2 guests, standard Plats get a +1.)

I availed the Golden Lounge yesterday. It was not easy to locate, with very poor signage. I went up the elevator to where it looked like there were some lounges, then asked staff who guided me. I was travelling OneWorld J.
Bar stools, relaxing chairs and dining tables. Staff were very active, but seemed jaded and were not friendly. No greetings, no offering of anything.
Lounge was very busy (mainly it seemed full of Australian voices). There was a very limited range of soft drinks + free access to bean-to-cup coffee machine. Alcohol was in a separate 'bar' room which had a nice view of the tarmac (but no food) and you had to fetch your own wine etc from that room and carry it, then put it down and fetch your own food.
Wide variety of foods on offer, some hot dishes, desserts and salad bar already made + a noodle bar with 3 x recipes made to your order.
Bathrooms (bizarrely hot) and quiet rest rooms - shared by gender. 2 massage chairs to try which I could not get to work - you needed to use an app.
View of some planes on the tarmac. Strange acoustics meant it was very difficult to find a quiet area, despite screens between chairs. I could hear in detail all the conversations loudly of whichever person was sitting fairly near me, as if they were immediately next to my head.
I would not rush back, but it was pleasant enough for a couple of hours.

I assume I am able to access the lounges as OWE while flying MH metal with PG flight number? For some reason that customer service cannot tell me, MH has stopped selling the itinerary that I need (connecting onto a PG metal flight), but both flights can be booked on one ticket as PG stock...

As a OWE transiting in KUL to a domestic flight, will I be able to use the Regional or Satelite lounges arriving in KUL? Or will they direct us to the dry Domestic lounge instead.

If you are depending on your domestic flight to get you access, it can go either way; there does not seem to be a consistent policy in such a situation, and there will not be much you can do if the Satellite / Regional Lounge agent tells you to go to the Domestic lounge on the day:
Denied access to KUL Platinum Lounge
KUL Lounge Access Question
Satellite lounge access before regional flight
Anecdotally, it seems it may have been have been more open to allowing this before COVID, and now they are stricter. However, its not explicitly published write either way anywhere on MHs site.
To quote Globalist from one of the other threads:
If you arrive international and you depart domestic you have access to the domestic departure lounge.
anything beyond that is a pleasant surprise.
Arriving from an international destination and transiting to a domestic flight does not give you access to the golden lounge/platinum room. Yes there has been anecdotal evidence that people did get in but this is malaysia and it all depends how you talk with people. Once a decision was made by the staff they would not change their mind as that would mean losing face.
You can still try the international lounge at the main terminal building, that is still nicer than the domestic lounge.
Globalist.

You are entitled to disagree, MH doesnt and they own the lounge.
The OneWorld policy is secondary, MH is free to say that domestic passengers can not use an international lounge as the passenger is not departing from the international terminal and as they are still providing a lounge in the domestic terminal they are confirming with the OneWorld rules. Many airlines make up their own rules that are liberal with the OneWorld standards.

Departing for SIN from an H gate with 3 hours to go, no issues in taking the bus from the main to satellite terminal (10 mins) to use the F lounge, and bus back (another 10 mins).
The plant based ayam percik served in the F dining area was quite pleasant.

Hello, I’m transiting (OWE) from SIN to DPS and have 15 hr layover at KUL. If I’m understood right, F lounge is 24h so I can go there and spend whole evening and morning as well there? Only thing what I have to do is to take transfer bus from Main terminal to Satellite terminal and back? Is there any sleeping areas? 3 course plate dinner sounds perfect for me.

You will need eye mask and ear plugs as there are often noises coming from the other side of the thin walls - there may be a kitchen area or store room adjacent to the rest areas.

There are separated Male and Female rest areas towards the far end of the Emerald Lounge. They have 'Z' style bed-seats. (I think you may be able to get blankets/pillows at reception, but am not sure.)

There have been reports that people with long overnight transfers (in J) have been turned away from the lounge. OW lounge rules seem to indicate that the unless your flight is before 6am you cant stay overnight. One of the reports was for somebody arriving from PVG at 21:00 (approx) and leaving to Medan at around 8am. They ended up using the Sama Sama transit hotel.

One more question, if Im staying airside, do I need Malaysian Arrival Card or do they check those if staying airside?
