It certainly wasn't possible in August ( Post 847) but no harm in seeing if something has changed by contacting customer services. Probably conincidental but I got a suite upgrade at check in even though I couldnt use the suite upgrade.

Did a quick search but couldn't find this anywhere. The diamond elite hot breakfast certificate says "inclusive of tax and 20% gratuity". Does anyone know if the staff actually gets the gratuity, or are we still expected to leave a cash tip? Thanks!

Does "kids eat free" still apply when a Diamond member gets breakfast for free on a reward night at Holiday Inn?
The website states "Children must be accompanied by a paying adult during all meals" but technically the Diamond breakfast is free

System seems to be working as intended (saw a few other similar reports across other threads).

Could be the sukkot blessings but it seems the IHG-milestones F&B vouchers are redeemable,
all within easy access of the app for apple users,
i will try these out at Voco The Hague / IC AMS / Kimpton AMS / Kimpton London and will report back:
screenshots
step 1
in IHG
step 2
go to account
step 3
to rewards wallet
step 4
this is what you'll see:

Click details and it will list all the fine print

step 4
I guess you need to be
- checked in the hotel
- booking under same IHG-rewards account full name
- have membership in the system and tacked on reservation
* better to ask at reception if all requirements are fullfilled
- eat / drink at hotel's own operated venue (indication is that you sign bills to room charge on hotel folio)
* i think if you can connect to the hotel's own wifi under your IHG account number the chances are that the system has your reservation + checkin + membership number all confirmed and should pose no deterrent from using the F&B vouchers.

My next stay is in two weeks
It lists as to work:
- need to checked in
- stay + account number must be combined = correctly match
- or the hotel isn't ready to accept these

I've got 2 rewards to redeem at present.
Not sure if the suite upgrade for the first one is worth it. Mostly stay in HIX, HI etc. (that's what's available where I am), and I either get a normal room or a possible upgrade anyway and there generally aren't any suites there.
ICs I don't know if they count, and Kimptons I've stayed at once and they're nothing special really compared to what some believe here.
Next IC stay is going to be at a club lounge access rate, so I'll get fed and watered in there.
A suite might be handy if impressing a young lady friend. Not sure if it's for a single night or the whole stay.
Second one, 2 x 15 Food & Beverage wise, not sure. Get maybe 500 points or a diamond breakfast anyway at a CP, and if I do eat at a hotel, it's usually a bowl or two of chips / fries for <10.
Could go for the 5k points which is 20-25 to buy for me, although could get 30 min. value out of that for a rewards night.
40 night wise, does this line regarding lounge membership mean that if I selected the reward on the 1st January 2023, it would last until 31st Dec 2025 (or 1st Jan 2026)?
"Once selected, Lounge Membership reward is valid for the rest of this calendar year, plus an additional 12 months thereafter"

First diamond stay, checked in last night at a domestic Indigo. Desk agent asked if I wanted points or drinks as my welcome amenity. Only when I asked about breakfast did he say that was also an option. Then he said the free breakfast was for just one day (I'm here four nights). That's not right, is it?
Looking at the breakfast vouchers he gave us, they're also explicit that gratuity is not included. That doesn't seem to match others experiences here?
