are any others easily accessible airside currently?
Personally, I don't consider A particularly convenient to the AA gates. It's a pretty long walk. I'd just park at the Admiral's Club. |

Theoretically VS is open to Priority Pass 8:30 am to 2 pm, but I believe it's the contract lounge set-up, not the full spread that VS pax get for the evening departures.

I was in 8th grade when he and Mayor Moscone were asassinated. They announced it over the school PA and I still remember clearly what an awful shock and tragedy that was. |

In the Virgin lounge at the moment. No issues getting in just before midday. Lounge is maybe 1/3 full.

Was the full bar available then, or do they scale down the drinks options during the PP times?

I didn't really look, but it seemed at least reasonably stocked.

9th grade for me. But a more vivid memory sitting in a Washington bar when the OJ verdict was announced, and the differing reactions by race.

Hi, flying BA286 tomorrow (Sunday) at 2145 and want to visit the Amex CL beforehand.
What is the best method and how long will it take to go from the CL/F1 to the A gates, this will be executed at ~7pm on a Sunday night, so hopefully not peak travel period. I do not have government issued security expedition but is there Fast Track for OneWorld sapphires? Should I walk from CL/F1 airside to G1, exit, or exit at EF then walk landside to G, then either way walk across the Intl area to A gate security; or take the AirTrain from T3EF red/counter clockwise to AB? Thank you! |

or take the AirTrain from T3EF red/counter clockwise to AB? Either way, you'd be doing quite a bit of walking to get to the Airtrain... might as well walk the whole thing. Figure 15-20 min walk. Maybe someone can comment on recent experience on wait times at A security. In my experience, there is usually a premium passenger line for security that is faster, but it can still be highly variable on wait times. I've had anything from 10-30 minutes even in the faster lane. |
I wouldn't do this without pre-check, especially not during the referenced time frame, as that's prime international departure window. Centurion SFO is not a good lounge at all, and certainly not worth potentially spending 30 extra minutes in security line.
I certainly would not take the Airtrain, that's a big waste of time. It's a very short walk across the international departures lobby from G to A. |
Would your oneworld status allow you access to the American Admirals Club in Terminal 1? Would still be a long walk but you wouldn't need to clear security again.

I'm not sure the AC is any better than BA lounge, to which OP will already have access.
