Will be landing at Terminal A and want to get to Terminal F and then the BART. Is there a foot path across from A to F or will I need to walk past each terminal?

Once you are landside at A, you can walk straight across to G where BART is (or continue to the landside portion of F if that is in fact what you want)

Hello
QQ - LAX-SFO-LHR (Delta & Virgin) - I have a layover of six hours, is that enough time to drive to Union Square? Alternatively I have access to the Centurion Lounge and Virgin Clubhouse via Amex Platinum - after arriving with Delta at T2, can I walk to T3 to the Centurion Lounge (either pre/post security) and from there later to the International terminal? I think opening times require lounge hopping… Thanks |

If you do want to go to Union Square (Powell station), I suggest BART in both directions. It's much more predictable and reliable than subjecting yourself to traffic conditions in S.F. |

Do you walk out to the far gates in T3 to see what other exhibits might be in the long walkway out there? Do you go through the airside passage to the International "G" gates and see what is percolating over there? Or do you head back to the DL lounge because it was pleasant, and you didn't really enjoy the AX lounge (either because you didn't wait, or it was overcrowded.)? Whatever you choose, you'll eventually need to go landside, which I suggest doing in the Int'l G area, where you'll also find some exhibits in the landside area near the security checkpoint side. There are also exhibits over on the A side, which is your security checkpoint for VS, in addition to an Aviation Library and Museum (check hours for that one). And when you eventually make it through there, I suggest walking over to the new part of T1 (B gates) which is dedicated to Harvey Milk, and has its own exhibits. (No need to walk down the bulk of the B pier for anything). After this point, you can go to the VS lounge and relax! Or you can go to VS first, have some F&B, and then enjoy some more exhibits, and return to VS. Just note that what once was a short walk (DL to VS) can no longer be accomplished in the "short walk" direction due to construction. That is why Ms. Julie McCoy specifically selected your itinerary direction above. |
I'm flying from SFO on Thursday late night from International Terminal G and I have access to lounges for Priority Pass and Plaza Premium from Venture X but they are all in International Terminal A. It appears that it is not possible to go from G to A airside. Has anyone tried to go to A first for lounges and then G for an international flight? Will it be okay to go through security twice? Trying to figure out how much time to budget for this.

My "worst-case" estimates for when you need to get through G as you approach boarding time: Clear + PreCheck: 15 minutes PreCheck: 20 minutes Premium line: 25 minutes Regular line: 35 minutes I think it's likely that it will take significantly less time than the above, but that's how I would plan. |

Yes, I've done it. I wouldn't bother without Precheck. It's only worth it if you can get into VS lounge. AF/KL lounge sucks and BA only open for Priority Pass in the morning.
