As I just noted, the e-mail offered me survey points. But when I clicked on the link to take the survey, I got offered e-rewards "dollars". But from the text of the webpage, it does appear that 100 points is the same as $1 in e-rewards currency.

Topic: Study about Beverages
Research Sponsor: A Valued e-Rewards Partner
Full credit amount*: receive $5.00 in e-Rewards Currency when you access and fully complete the research survey.
Partial credit amount*: receive $0.50 in e-Rewards Currency as a token of our appreciation if your survey answers do not meet the criteria to fully qualify for the study OR if the predetermined number of participants has been reached.

Here in the UK, we have always got points not $, but recently I've had several offers in $ and that has translated back to the normal points when I've clicked on the link. So exactly the same as you except in reverse. I don't think it means anything other than they got confused when they drew up the offer wording!

Incredibly, got a survey today that asked if I'd participated in a market research survey in the past six months... answered truthfully, got booted. Like anyone on e-rewards could possibly qualify for that one.

^ They finally got back to me and fixed both of the issues I was having. It's the level of service we expect from them, just a little slower - about a week and a half wait.

I get about 2-3 per week, and recently did a Priority Club transfer. Several months ago I got a very local survey ( a local hardware chain) which I was interested to see...also interesting that the chain has recently changed their sale tabs in a way they were surveying. I had one which I was thisclose to doing but couldn't do (they seemed to want someone who had a recently completed property insurance claim...I was at the tail end of one, about a week from closure). Generally pretty evenly mixed between IT/tech ones for work, banking/investments and shopping/entertainment. Also got one around Christmas for a local mall, asking my shopping and substitution preferences (i.e. if you don't go to this mall, which is your second choice) which was novel.

Does e-Rewards currency expire this year?
I have $65 in my statement and noticed a banner on my home page saying "Currency Expiration: Thank You For Your Participation."
Does it mean I lose 75% of the currency?

Your membership year is based upon the quarter that you signed up in. I signed up on June 28th, so my membership year ends June 30th. 75% of your currency will expire 30 days after your membership year ends.

Supposedly, for the past couple of years, the expiration has been waived, but it is not guaranteed.

I tend to cash my points out as soon as I have enough for an award- usually at the $25/500 mile level. Is there an advantage to holding them?

The rewards increase at higher point levels, e.g. $50=2500 HH points, $100=7000 HH points (instead of 5000 HH points).

I try to let them accumulate as much as possible before expiration date so I can get maximum value when I cash out. However at this rate I'll probably never get to $100. Get about one survey a week, and qualify for less than half of them. I'm envious of folks who can cash out $100 every quarter.

Seems to be constant for United Miles $25 for 500, $50 for $1000. That's what I usually redeem.

This probably means they are waiving the expiration. Click on that banner & it will thank for being an e-rewards member & tell you that the expiration has been waived for the upcomming expiration date. At least thats what the link from that banner on my wifes account said. It would have expired at the end of April. Mine doesn't expire until 6/30.

I, personally, like e-rewards. I get 500 to 1000 RR miles each month and they all apply to the companion pass. With two 50,000 welcome points and the e-rewards points one can get to a companion pass with minimal expense.
As I "work" on the internet slipping in the e-rewards surveys is easy to do. I wish there was a way for my wife to get e-rewards points. Does anyone know how to do that?

I'm finding the surveys are now expiring within 24 hours of being sent. I "lost" a few of them last week because I waited a day to do them.

Also, I'm not qualifying nearly as often as I did in the past. For both mine and my husband's account, we're both pretty close to getting an award, and at .25 a survey now, our points may expire before we actually get there.
