You claim that "based on the postings here, it doesnt seem like this is a widespread issue - has anyone seen anything like this in the past?"

Honestly, how much of this thread did you actually read?

Your question is one that gets asked OVER and OVER and OVER again (like many/most of the questions posed on this thread). And there isn't necessarily some magic answer. But, sometimes it pays to read a significant chunk of existing material; no guarantees, of course.

Kathy is quite correct. This question gets asked probably once every month or two. One suggestion is to update your profile. Another is to send them an email. Neither suggestion guarantees more surveys; they just work for some people.

Not sure how to magically trigger the invitation from other sponsors, but I can tell you that my wife got one from American Eagle Outfitters after signing up for their bonus program (and making purchases). Her airline options are Aero Mexico, AF, AirTran, Alaska, Aloha, Delta, Emirates, Eithad, Frontier, Hawaiian, Iberia, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, United, US, Virgin America, Virgina Atlantic.

The key is to get the invite from something other than an airline program, as that restricts your options to only that airline.

Me too.

I haven't been answering surveys for a month or so but I logged in because I'm 300 miles short for an award ticket that I need next month and USAir and all of the other airlines that I had as redemption options have disappeared except for United. Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure I joined through USAir. I guess I'm going to be looking for an invite from another sponsor, cash out my current account and then start a new one.

Received an interesting email from eRewards today on my wife's account. It said that she took and completed a survey recently that had an $8.50 value. The email said she was not qualified to have taken the survey and that they have removed $7.50 from her account and left $1 for her trouble. Strange. She (I) only take the surveys they send and qualify us for.

Got a similar email with the same message. I think the $1 represents what would have been earned for the portion of the survey completed. eRewards seems to be saying that credit was given for completely finishing the survey when the pollster determined that we didn't meet the demographic criteria and didn't allow us to continue.

All of the airline mileage programs have disappeared as options for rewards. My husband still has Delta Skymiles listed for his account. I've sent them an e-mail but no response so far. What gives? I've got a decent balance and there is nothing I want.

In a day or two, you will get an e-mail from them, referring to "recent changes of our airline sponsors." All of my airline reward options have also disappeared. We apparently need to get a new invitation to join e-Rewards from a sponsor that includes more airline options. Any ideas out there?

In response to Mcmarya: Just minutes ago I redeemed e-rewards dollars for Southwest points. No problem.

I still have Delta left. But that makes sense since I originally sign up with NWA. Wish I could get an invite from USAir.

Likewise. All the airlines are gone. Do you think this is a temporary reconfiguration? or a permanent change? If it's permanent, there's little reason to spend time answer the surveys.

Just checked my account which I have had since about 2002 and all the airlines partners and rewards are gone. Only the hotels are still there. I sent them an internal email asking what happened. Probably the usual, they weren't making enough money on the airline rewards so they removed them without warning. We better get used to this as it seems like an industry trend. Delta Skymiles pulled a sweet number on me last year when I was just a few hundred miles from a trip to Asia. Suddenly they increased the required miles from 60K to 80K overnight without warning. I stopped using DL for anything except to burn the miles I had with them. Now who will be next?

E-Rewards is really behaving strangely. Just the other days they activated my account. Now it has been deactivated again. Not sure what is going on.
