Not sure if you folks are still getting new surveys. Any suggestions from experts on how to start getting those surveys again? Thanks in advance.

They come and go. I'll go months without one then I'll get a ton of them - especially if I'm out of town with limited access to a computer :-)

Well, it's luck really.
You choose a e-rewards sponsor that you want to receive an invitation from, then subscribe to receive any partner offers and as much spam as possible, then wait. You may get an invitation.
Before, there used to be a link at the airline's "partners" page, that anyone could use.

I've gotten a slowdown too...they were coming all the time and I got to $20.50.....this included a 5$ bonus after I ignored their emails for months after posting $25 to PC before. Emiles is a much easier hit.

Truly slower, lately. Hadn't connected it with Grand Slam, but I'll bet you're right. I see you are updating your profile at every opportunity (responding in a way so as to widen your "opportunities"?) which would have been my suggestion. Actually, doing this has started really getting to me -- all the info I'm giving them about me for ~ $.10 per round. Then, I just remembered to do "CCleaner" on my computer, and I see all the cookies they've put on me, even though I think I clear the cache in more minor ways often. I know, the latter are a fact of life nowadays. The point: We sure are selling "ourselves" cheaply, especially during these droughts.

Different data points at our home. We're not seeing anything that would be considered unusually slow activity as far as frequency of offers. Mrs.bob12403 and I continue to get pretty regular offers from e-rewards, about 2-3 per week per person, and I earned just over $16 in e-rewards in September. It does seem that we haven't qualified for quite as many full surveys recently, but that's something that happens periodically with e-rewards. For example, in August I earned over $40 in e-rewards on virtually the same number of offers as in September.

Overall, not experiencing any "drought" here, I'm happy to report. (And to your point about updating the profile: other than answering their occasional surveys that earn e-rewards by providing additional profile information, I don't think I've gone in and actually changed my profile in about a year.)

bj2757 Oct 2, 2011 10:06 am

I keep feeling like it slows down - but I look at my redemption's and find I converted $100 three times this year - for me that's a good amount.

Mary2e Oct 2, 2011 10:11 am

I'm getting the normal amount. But I also joined so long ago that I'm not tied to any particular redemption partner.

I normally get 2-3 a week.

I can't remember who my "invitee" was (I think it was Hilton but not sure) as it's been quite a long time but for the past week I have been getting 2-3 per day and prior to that it was about 2-3 per week

Mary2e Oct 2, 2011 10:18 am

I think my invite was from Hilton too :)

A few weeks ago I was getting a lot of them as well. I think they just go through cycles. The same with MyPoints. Pretty soon we'll be flooded with those as the holidays get closer.

If I'm not mistaken, I think it's E-miles that resulted from a Hilton invitation. Then all of the results can only go to HHonors points. I'm pretty sure that E-rewards are open enrollment, and thus they can be shot to a number of redemption targets.

And, bob12403, I get the profile-updater after virtually every E-rewards survey I fill out, I do the profile one, it tells me my account has been credited, but my total doesn't increase.

[Never thought I'd care enough to become this familiar, but E-rewards is another hit in the Grand Slam. And, as I noted in an earlier post, it did "save" my HHonors account a few months ago. What we do.....]

I am sorry to inform you that you are wrong.

It's never open enrollment for e-Rewards. You need a sponsor invite to join e-Rewards. Go and check e-Rewards' website and I doubt you could find any proof of open enrollment. There used to be a link to request an invite though.

And e-Rewards started the practice of (airline) sponsor-restricted redemption maybe 4 or 5 years ago. Say if your sponsor is Delta, your airline redemption is locked in with Delta. This is the thread that discussed that change:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/s-p-m...ough-them.html (Dec 2007)

Meanwhile, some long-time e-Rewards members, say enrolled in 1990s, aren't affected by such change and still have a wide range of redemption options, airlines or otherwise.

Hilton is just one of the many partners for e-Miles. People sign up with e-Miles thru different partners. See this master thread for more discussion:

Firewind Oct 9, 2011 8:25 am

Uniquely, I was not invited to E-rewards, and I can choose from a number of redemption options. I was invited to join E-miles by Hilton, and I am not given a choice of where to redeem them, only a choice of when.

Maybe you should contact e-rewards. My account activity shows five profile updates in the past 30 days, with ten cents awarded for each one. Why would they give one person e-rewards money for a profile update and not another person?

Contact Number for E-Rewards

Hi All,

Just curious to know if anyone knows any customer care contact number? I have not received any new survey in almost a month and half. My profiles and all are updated. I sent them mails using the member service option, but have not received any reply from their end. Probably calling them might increase my chances. :)

All my communications (for 10 years on now) with them have always been via email.

Just found this thread although I have been an e-rewards member for almost 2 years. Can be very frustrating. Although the OP was many years ago, I still agree that it seems quite unfair to be on a survey for 5-10 minutes, answer more than 20 questions, and then told you don't qualify. Happens >25% of the time. But I haven't quit yet since I still like to have alternate ways to build up miles, even little bits at a time.

honu Oct 23, 2011 4:13 am

How long for e-rewards to post to Priority Club these days? I seem to recall it was a weekly sweep, but I forget the day, and it's been longer than a week now and the points haven't hit my account... I'd like to know if anyone else had a recent experience with this before I send an email to CS.

Same here. I get a couple of invites a week, tempting me with 400-500 pt surveys, then after far more questions than should be required I get told I don't qualify and get a measly 25pts .

Choice redemptions

Choice redemptions - from the e-rewards website "You may claim one (1) Choice Privileges Reward per calendar quarter, per Choice Privileges account and/or e-Rewards member account".

I had been hoping to credit e-rewards from two different e-rewards accounts to the same Choice account within a few days (Grand Slam hit). This suggests I shouldn't be able to. Is this enforced in practice and what would happen if I tried and failed - would my e-rewards disappear into the ether or would the transfer just never happen?

This happens to me occassionally. In fact it happened just last week. I emailed erewards to complain about being dumped after investing 15 minutes in a survey and they credited me with the full amount. They need to know when their survey providers pull stunts like this since it alienates their members.

It is enforced, your points will not disappear, but it will tell you it's not possible

I haven't seen a slowdown, in fact e-rewards surveys are lighting up my inbox even more than normal lately.

Even though the e-rewards are coming from a different account? I know that it will tell me it's not possible from the same account, but the software is clever enough to be able to tell at the point of transfer that an earlier transfer has already been made from a different account? I'm impressed.

Be impressed as that's the way it works ....

For any "restricted" rewards:

Can't use the same eRewards account to go to two different receiver accounts; i.e. trying to do a rewards transfer from one eRewards account to two different US Air Dividend Miles accounts within the "restricted" time period (30 days) will fail.

I don't think it was always that way but they are now quite good at it now!

But, as indicated earlier, you don't lose your points; it just won't let you do the rewards transfer.

As suggested by some of you, I contacted e-rewards via email on why I am not getting any more surveys, and I received below reply:

Hello Vinay,

Recently you contacted us regarding the decreased frequency of survey invitations that you receive. We have reviewed your past participation in the e-Rewards program and have determined that we stopped sending survey invitations to you as a matter of policy.

e-Rewards serves clients in the consumer packaged goods industry, auto industry, and in general to companies who provide products or services that are sold to businesses and consumers around the world. These clients use survey results to make decisions that have significant financial implications for their companies. As such they rely upon the quality of the survey answers they receive from e-Rewards panelists.

From time to time our clients report that a specific panelist's answers to a survey are unusable because the e-Rewards panelist clearly did not provide consistent, plausible answers to survey questions. When we receive a number of such reports about the same e-Rewards panelist, we stop sending survey invitations to the panelist, as panelists who do not provide honest and thoughtful opinions are not of interest to our clients.

Panelists who are no longer invited to participate in surveys may still have use of their e-Rewards accounts, and may redeem any and all outstanding balances at their disposal.

Sincerely,
XXXX
Member Services

If anyone of you have faced similar situation and managed to get out of it successfully, I would love to hear about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

TIA.

I found this to be an interesting answer from e-rewards. Over 2 years ago I closed my account with them because I was being required to go thru 5-10 screens of ?'s and then being told that I didn't qualify. They gave me no suggestions as to why this was happening but now I am thinking that maybe someone had problems with my answers. I think that you should have been notified by them beforehand so you would have at least had a chance to defend yourself. Personally, I think their surveys asked ?'s that were too
personal.

I have no idea what the problem is. I seem to receive even more invitations after complaining! In fact yesterday I received three, and the day before two. Perhaps it has something to do with the demographics you've been slotted in?

oldpenny16 Oct 30, 2011 1:19 pm

As I've gotten older the number of surveys I get have been reduced. I'm sure my next birthday will push me into the ERewards land of the unwanted unless it is for surveys about Depends!

Now that I am over 50- I do notice a declination in what surveys I recieve.

Lucky timing

Was able to use my last $25 from e-Rewards and clean out my account prior to any of them expiring on my "renewal date" tomorrow. I figured after I redeemed for Delta miles and had $24.25 left, I wouldn't get any more surveys.
