Ditto. Hopefully it's just an IT issue as it was fine yesterday (and I too was planning on redeeming in the next couple of days).

louie-m Mar 18, 2012 8:15 am

Very odd - just received (within last 20 minutes) a survey invitation, yet still get the error message when clicking on the link.

gv111 Mar 18, 2012 9:04 am

This is really unusual - may be their domain expired or some other IT issue. Did a search on internet if they are closing but didn't find anything. Even Google cache does not show anything - "The requested URL /search?q=cache:http://www.e-rewards.com/ was not found on this server. That’s all we know."

I only had $25 in there. So not much of a loss for me if they close down but I hope that is not the case.

LOL! Just got a survey from them. The mystery gets deeper.

rapariga Mar 18, 2012 10:04 am

I've been having this problem since Friday. I was very close to reaching $50 and anxious to convert to miles. I can't remember any situation like this and find it perturbing and disappointing!

brasov02 Mar 18, 2012 10:20 am

At least we know they aren't out of business since we're still getting surveys from them. At least I think that's a good sign. Despite the fact that the survey link goes nowhere like every other link to erewards is currently taking us. The one bright side is that this is happening on a weekend so maybe they're just doing some maintenance. Although it seems if that were the case they would at least put up some kind of explanation to that effect. If it's still out of commission on business day Monday then I'll start to worry...

BlondeBomber Mar 18, 2012 10:52 am

same issue here in Canada--only had about $100 -- just getting ready to redeem. Not a biggie if they go under but nice little bonus for whiling away some time every now and then. Guess we'll see Monday if they are in operation or not!:-:

Yup-appears to be down as I'm getting a page not found error :(

big_mac Mar 18, 2012 11:22 am

I would guess that they didn't renew their domain name.

Confirmed. I had 3 accounts with over $500...oh well...no more easy 7K HH every quarter. :(

jms_uk Mar 18, 2012 1:12 pm

.co.uk still working fine

big_mac Mar 18, 2012 1:54 pm

I don't think it will be for long, I'm guessing that the DNS has been cached, but the DNS servers are no longer valid.

Embassy. Mar 18, 2012 3:00 pm

Weird... hopefully it will be back up with all money intact.

fwoomp Mar 18, 2012 6:03 pm

I've been having the same problem since yesterday--got TWO survey emails, and I have ~$125 in credit I want to transfer.

Thanks guys, I knew I could find out whether or not I'm experiencing an isolated problem here.

big_mac Mar 18, 2012 6:06 pm

it seems to be back now

.....and hitting new lows for me....

They asked to bring a child to watch an advertising video for a game, then asked if we owned the game already, then kicked-out for saying 'no'.

I would be quite annoyed if my child had not been imaginary ;-)

http://www.erewards.com is down; it should redirected to other hyphenated site, but does not.

It may be a cached DNS entry,
See if this helps

Totally worked - thanks much!

Is there any way to add Southwest if you don't already have it as an option?

neuromancer Mar 20, 2012 4:18 pm

No, you should join via another invitation (from Southwest or any hotel program)

marvanit Mar 21, 2012 12:49 pm

Are people still getting surveys? I havent gotten one in what seems like months. I have updated my profile, etc, but have not received anything.

About 2-3 per day for the month or so.

I'm averaging about four per week.

Just got back and saw the thread, but if you ever want to take a quick look to see if a site is up (or if it's just you), www.isup.me is a great site.

I haven't gotten anything in over a week either. Before that the most I used to get was 3-4 a week. I guess I should've embellished my profile when I created the account (invented kids etc).

It's really not obvious what it takes... I don't have kids yet I'm getting 1-2 surveys almost every day.

Tho I have noticed, quite a few of them start by asking which of a handful of major metro areas I live in. Maybe location is the major determinant?

Could be...Guess they have too many women my age group in LA with free time on their hands so they don't really need me :)

michelin Mar 27, 2012 4:43 pm

I realized I hadn't received anything in some time, so I went to the website, and signed in. It then said they were having issues with my e-mail address and I needed to confirm it before I could receive any more surveys. They made it sound as if I had been contacted about this but I'm sure that never happened.

Seemed to work just fine for the previous 11 years :)

Anyway, if it seems like you haven't received anything for a while, sign in and see if you get the same message I got.

vickiburton Mar 27, 2012 4:56 pm

Same thing happened to me. I hadn't gotten anything in ages. Logged in and the message was that they couldn't contact me with the file email address. Put in the same email and started getting offers immediately.

Flyingmama Mar 27, 2012 5:13 pm

I've been getting four to five invite emails a week, but can't seem to qualify any longer. Sigh.

tyfabes Mar 27, 2012 7:35 pm

I'm averaging about 5 per week. I've only racked up about $9.00 in rewards. It seems quite tedious seeing as how $25 is only worth 500 RR points.

JerryFF Mar 28, 2012 9:46 am

Hilton HHonors

Just converted $100 into 7000 Hilton HHonors points. I manage to do that about twice a year. Do people think that is a good use of E-rewards?
