Has anyone participated in an activity from SODA where you download an app onto your phone, and log activity related to the purchase of a car for a week, in return for 800 points? I participated in this, and the week ended at the end of last week, and wondering when I'll get the points. Thx tls

Last edited by thelostshark; Apr 1, 2013 at 10:34 am Reason: Just noticed the app says "SODA" not "SDC"

This stinks, but I agree with Kat007. Folks will still redeem this option. tls

I did this on the 2/28. The points showed up a few days later. The status is pending right now and I'll report back when the it changes.

First I noticed the redemption amounts had increased - 5700 vs 5200 and 11100 vs 10000. It took a few days then they actually worked!!

Your reward is on its way!
Your Item: 2,500 MileagePlus Miles will be shipped to the address you provided. Please allow 2 - 6 weeks for delivery.
5,700 Points have been deducted from your account for this purchase.

Sent an email to them last week asking why I couldn't redeem my 5200 points for 2500 United miles. They apologized for the "inconvenience" stating they would be available on April 1st. Surprise!

Their Opinion Sphere surveys are still routinely failing to credit the 10 points for a non-qualifier. This happened regularly some weeks ago, and after complaints they started giving the non-qualifier points again. Now they are back to being a scam.

As soon as I see that it is an Opinion Sphere survey, I don't even bother with it.

Survey email this morning said 5 points if you don't qualify. Hope this is not the new trend. At least 10 was worth the couple screening pages it took to get booted.

Oh man, I spent about 20 minutes today on a breakfast survey, and thought I'd completed it, and then it said I didn't qualify. Basically they got all the info they wanted w/o having to give the 50 points. What a scam. tls
