Anyone else getting phishing attempts while running nCraves? This is the second one in a week and it's pretty clear reading it that it's not Microsoft support. I've Tweeted MyPoints to alert them but they don't respond.

I got the same pop up a few weeks ago on another site. I closed the browser, I was using Chrome at the time, reopened Chrome and never saw the pop up again. Have you had this happen more than once?

I've seen it twice in the last week while running nCraves on MyPoints. I did the same as you, closed the browser and it was gone when I reopened it (I also ran a malware check, just in case).

They finally did respond to my tweet with the screen shot, so at least they're aware of it now.

It appears my points has become a huge waste of time. I have been a member for a long time and only used it to click thru 5 point emails, which I received every day. Now I barely get 2 a week. The rest are ads.

I assume others are seeing this as well since there’s no further activity on this thread. I’m going to cash out and close the account.

Sure, if that it was you have been using MyPoints for. I like to buy gift cards from them and some of their shopping rebates are a good deal.

I have been getting 1 point/day answering the survey. 2 clicks. Easy. Plus points for my referrals. (Thank you.)

Yeah, MyPoints is becoming a waste of time. Both the cheapskate emails that give you no points, and the repeat emails that give you no points, are highly annoying. I have started avoiding companies that do either of those things, both online, and where applicable in brick and mortar stores. I have said Bye-bye to Best Buy for that reason.

Now, in the past few days, the MyPoints search engine is broken and produces no searches. I was also racking up points there.

Once I reach another UA award level, I think I will cash out for good.

Is the search function at MyPoints working for anyone? It would be nice if it came back up so I can reach my total for my last batch of miles and I can bail out of this deteriorating program. Oddly, when trying it to see if it was working again, it actually awarded me 31 points even though it did not bring up any search results.

It looks like for the Month of April they've eliminated the point option through checking videos. Used to be I could get up to 4 points, and if managed to find a survey that didn't take more than 10 minutes I will get the whole 5pt. Now, 3pts MAS is best I can do. Of well, it was bound to happen. Good luck to others.

Pretty slimey of them to change the Daily 5 qualifications after people already submitted monthly goals, which are now almost impossible to attain. I can't believe one of the Daily 5 qualifiers is In Store Deals, at a time when the vast majority of retailers are closed. I think I'm really finally done with this crappy program, the sneaky unannounced devaluation tactics and issues like videos that crash midway and surveys that mine too much information before screening out have made it worthless.

The only major change I took note of was Videos is gone BUT if you look at your acct statement and add up both ncarves and videos it should tital the exact same amount under Watch = any videos you watched till now is now counted as a Watch. Nothing lost.

fwiw its alot less time needed to score the pts via what was ncrave and now is Watch.

The big Negative was 2 of the Daily 5 were ncrave and video, so its harder but in order to fulfill the % you need to keep clicking on Surveys even after you get 5 nos, till you finally can complete 1

If you've got 'Laptop Guy' on the watch page, IIRC those videos credit as 'Discover'

Theres also "Take a Discovery Break" got to do some clicking and make sure you get the timing page to open and once it get sto '0' it will count as a Discovery and earn 2 pts for watching

Actually its now alot easier and quicker to do the Daily 5, and why would someone complain that the videos which took apx an hour for 4 pts is better then doing a Watch(nCrave) which gets you 2pts after apx 2-3 mins if that

In the last week or so, I have received several emails from My Points promoting bonus points for in store purchases. IMO, the timing couldn't be worse!

Just wondering if these offers are maybe part of an algorithm, or targeted, or just in poor taste given the stay at home policies in effect.
