Very good English teacher in 6th & 8th grades, who made us do sentence diagrams, etc.

I remember sentence diagrams, never did it again after grade school.

Thanks for the correction.

I always remember I want MyPoints to help me. Flies, sugar and vinegar...
I find this question very strange, plus WHY all problems must be on the survey taker's end?! 100% of the time the problem of any kind - from missing credit to missing receipt of redemption, are on the company's end because you the survey taker has no control on the system... The ONLY chance the problem would be on your end would be you made an error inputing your UA number.

I am sure @uxb simply gives My Points the FACTS of the missing redemption. Your "lecture" seems to be a bit out of bound.

While I never redeem UA miles with them, nor having any issue on my redemption on WMT GCs, I notice things sometimes can fall into cracks. I doubt anyone tries to get issues resolved would have "attitude" as you implied.

I do find My Points are easier to deal with than eRewards despite they are under the same umbrella. My Points are quick to resolve missing credit on surveys while eRewards is often a pain to deal with. The way My Points tracks the survey with detailed records also help a lot when you need to use the message function.

Yes, I gave up on eRewards long before My Points. I do like transfers to UA.

I fully admit redemption problems are almost always on MyPoints end. My only point was there is little to no advantage to blaming anyone or being angry about a problem. Your experience may be different but I have found being cordial and not pointing fingers gets better results than being angry.
YMMV

Why you keep implying others being angry when making complains/inquiries to the providers of any kind?

Ranting here is one thing, writing a factual, calm complain with supporting evidence on issues is another thing. You seem having trouble to separate them, with your continuing “attitude” to lecture others assuming others do not get immediate help are due to them not being courteous. I do not see anywhere the posters here ever say they wrote to My Points angrily - it is all in your imagination (with the need to show how you can get results while others not). LOL.

Dealing with eRewards requires being patient, thorough, and assertive. You do need to be firm and not let them brush you aside. I still do eRewards because of AS redemption, it is much more useful than UA miles for my travel pattern.

Cases in point, DXB-DOH 7.5K coach 15K biz on QR. MXP-MCT-DXB with a stopover at MCT on WY Oman Air in biz 45K. Also MFM-TPE-FUK on JX Starlux with a stop at TPE 7.5K coach 15K biz.

Just 2 days ago quite a number of FTers were able to catch West Coast and Taipei on Starlux at 75K biz.

Not to mention you even can get AA TATL at 55K if you know how to do a tag flight to trigger it while UA TATL in 85K and up. AA itself often over 100K on the same flight AS at 55K Unless if you don’t mind to pay an arm and a leg on BA flight.

So yeah, I still put up with eReward. Just need to keep good records when their idiotic system denied you after you reach the end if survey, immediately open a ticket with the details and screen shot, firmly demand them to post credits earned (and cheated by the deliberately designed cheating system). I have no problem pointing out their system glitches caused denied credits. I even told them this made customers suspect the system was deliberately designed so. LOL

I'm not angry in my dealings with MyPoints CS. However, their new system for submitting tickets sucks. Aside from a 2-7 business day waiting period, any submitted ticket now results in an AI auto-rejection message even if it is accompanied by supporting documentation. Also, when they eventually credit your account for missing activity, it is done with a long-winded message about people who scam the system. I've been a MyPoints member for over a decade, possibly two. I have banked over 700000 points. I am perhaps the last person who would scam the system. Historically, my redemption has always been for UA miles since it's cheap; easy to attain; and provides me with the most value (n.b. last-minute TCON redemptions aboard AC). I'm not exactly hard up for these miles, but I'd also rather spend as little time as possible tracking redemptions, which is why I often do not press the issue as quickly.

Ive noticed that surveys are timing out before starting when using my iPhone, sucks as now I have no way to complete my daily five. When using my regular laptop I keep hiring time out as well.

Have you noticed surveys paying odd amounts? I have gotten 1,3, 9 and 10 points for not qualifying and on a few days I have gotten my 5 point disqualification 7 or 8 times. These are the surveys under the To-Do list on the main page. I kind of like it and hope it continues.

I have not ever had a survey time out. I've had them disqualify me for just clicking on them, but never had one time out.

Ive given up on MyPoints

For the past several months Ive been unable to satisfy the daily 5. Surveys seems to be the problem, always closing out on me, disqualifying me, somehow Im not able to meet their criteria and not even get the minimum 5pt.

Also Ive noticed how their surveys payouts have lowered, 10-15- 30-43 pts for 10+ minutes time meaning you need to get 2 surveys done before even getting your minimum pts requirement for daily 5. Im finding that my return is so minimal that is longer worth my time. Im down to just >200 pts. It was good while it lasted, but not so much anymore.

I am not having that issue. My bigger problem is knocking off Bingo boards which now require the installation of a game I'll never play.

You don't have to play it, just install it.

It used to be easy to get the whole board; but since Revenue Universe with higher points surveys is gone, I can't get the higher deals squares.

I am shocked, submitted the points for a 5000 United mile redemption on January 26. The points posted today January 28. Almost seems like Mypoints is becoming a reliable company.

On second thought, probably not.
