Gringuito special meals should have no effect on an e-mail upgrade offer. Even so it would be wise to use MMB to check that the request has transferred.
With regard to loads please be aware that seat occupancy maps only show blocked and actively selected seats. If a passenger selects a specific seat then it will be visible. But if a passenger does not select a seat then the reservation will not be shown on the seat map Thus seat maps nearly always show fewer than the actual number of reservations thus giving the impression of low loads. It is thought that the numbers shown on many websites only show the number of selected seats not the number of passengers!

Though they still offer business saver fare for this flight, but maybe this is also not very reliable forecast method... I should have bought both ways business from the beginning
. *5 miles and very decent price during travel festival. Lesson learned.

QR652 DOH - KTM N-R $270 Booking Class R - Offer received 15 days before 11/16/17 flight.
Being on a 15 hour flight prior to this leg will offer me a shower, food and some sleep at the lounge during my almost 9 hour layover. Followed by a more comfortable flight in business class. So, definitely worth it to me, since I only paid $430 for both legs originally.

The DOH-NBO leg takes almost the same time (5h50m) of the DOH-PSA as per the longer route to avoid Saudi Arabia and AUE but they provide the amenities of the shorter legs.
The 186€ is definitely a Bargain for a 6hrs flight even if the Lounge in Nairobi is definitely not comparable with the Al Mourjan

At OLCI, was offered $405 for DOH-BUD Y->J.
It's an overnight flight but couldn't quite justify it (especially with a 1 hour transit in DOH, so no real time to use lounge). Would rather spend $100 on a hotel in BUD.

My daughter just got an offer 15 days before first flight. We upgraded her from DOH to NRT because I thought that the price was quite good. Original booking class was Q,new booking class R. Now I just have to call Qatar if they are willing to give her seat next to us because you can't do it online when you upgrade throught their offer.
