Well henkybaby and I are accidentally in Japan over that period, so it would be a fun day out.

Even Mrsmsm2000uk has said she wouldnt mind going, so thats most of the battle sorted!

I would not mind that at all. Arriving quite late on the 7th, so would need to find a good RFS to NGO for the next day, probably quite early as it is the day of the race and no doubt everything will be jam packed. Earliest arrival is 11:05 (AM) on the 8th.

I will reserve a hotel in NGO just in case.

So this is the topic where I see which of you stole my first choice inbound flight!!

My dates:

AMS-HND: 18/11/17
NRT-AMS: 04/12/17

Btw, when I was searching there was a promo fare around October that had a 40h total trip time. After a couple of minutes it was gone! So... which of you got that fare?

I am so excited about this fare. We managed to get it last night before it was gone. We always wanted to go to Japan and this was a too good offer to miss. Unfortunately we could not have any more days off work in October so our trip is quite short but we would love to stay longer. So for our first time in Japan we will have a small taster and hope for as good fare in the future.

The lists IMHO still fails to take into account common segments.

Park Hyatt booked and Wiki updated - my little ones love raw fish and are already now excited ... if you disagree with kids in Biz class avoid my flights :-)

I am so glad i got the "WAF" OKAYED last night "Wife Acceptance Factor"

Most of the times it is:
- Direct Flight?
- Why there?
- Why that airline?
- What about the little ones?
- Could we do XXX (not possible)
- Can we wait until tomorrow? so i can check with XXX
- Why not book a hotel first?
- etc... etc.
