I paid on my Lloyds Amex. The transaction cleared yesterday as a "manual paper voucher" transaction despite QR never having the card to make an imprint of it. The only other time I have ever seen a paper transaction on that card was paying for a flight from a beach on Fraser Island. But perhaps this unusual transaction method sheds some light on the delay.

Come to think of it reliance on paper might explain why they are so jumpy about credit card fraud!

Finally went through today on my Lloyds Amex too. Woo hoo! Mine also showed 'manual paper voucher'. Not sure what their putting in their zip zap machine over QR HQ .

Now to try and put my payment verification fiasco to bed.

Same for me and the exchange rate was extremely good too. I ended up paying £1082 for two.

Lloyds Avios Amex too.

Although mine shows as 'Online/phone/mail order purchase'. I paid just after midnight on Friday morning and it just showed on my statement today. Never appeared in Pending Transactions.

Good to get it in before TM's speech ;-)

Mine was slightly higher in GBP - but the underlying fares differed as well - eg AMS vs BRU. The euro exchange rate on mine was 1.1445, plus the Amex charge

I am leaving tomorrow AMS-NRT for 4 days, to 22th. 641 € for my part.
Happy as I wanted to fly some business under 1k € either Jan or Feb.

A lot better deal than PE to USA on BA for similar price ^^ just can't wait to Board tomorrow.
