Question,
i was suppose to fly DOH-CDG (QR39) on September 29th on the A380 First Class.. Qatar announced back in early March that on even days between most summer months, QR39 will be operated with 777 instead of A380. It seems that they changed the schedule again, coz now my ticket is not available as there are no First class anymore. If you look through Qatar website, it seems that September 30th is serviced by A380 now, and September 29th is service by 777... did I miss a service change announcement by Qatar?? Can anyone help.

Did you notice if the earlier flights have also changed?
CDG and BKK appear to me to be the destinations to lose an A380 flight if an A380 is needed elsewhere. Such as an air show or the inauguration of a new destination, for example CBR, etc.
Remember that the number of aircraft has not kept pace with the headless, headlong expansion QR has been going through. Why is not a topic that can be discussed here.

Over the last 18 months there have been several hundred postings to the effect that
"Never choose flights for the aircraft type. You will probably be disappointed.".
msm2000uk, and myself as well as many other members have posted the above or similar warning sometimes several times a day. I am afraid that is is still true! It is expected to remain true at least until the end of this year.
I specifically chose the date coz i wanted to try A380 First with Qatar.

A change that will please many a FTer as this is a popular route here: my July flights between DOH and VCE have been upgraded from 332 to 788 both ways. Certainly a nice change (I'm in J). I haven't checked if it is a permanent change or only for specific dates.

Hi,
I'm booked on QR150 MAD-DOH July-9th and QR149 DOH-MAD July-14th. The site says that they're both operated by A359, but both seat-maps show a 5-rows 2-2-2 layout (which, from seatguru, can only correspond to a 330-300! ). How can I check which one is wrong, the seat-map or the equipment?
Other legs in the ticket that are also A359 flights show the right seatmap...

VCE, I will fly one way in July with 788 and return in August, unfortunately 332 seem back already for August , it seem 332 is replaced by 333 from November.
GVA have actually the 359, but from November to March all the booking display 788, April show 359 back.

Can't seem to find any 777-300ER positioned to ZRH for Qsuite installation.
But, A7-BAC has not flown since 2nd July 2017, last flight's arrival in Doha.
A7-BEK will be next 777-300ER delivered from factory. Can we assume that it will be equipped with Qsuite right from Everett?
