I'm booked in to J on a PER-BNE redeye. It's on a A330-200, I assume the domestic version. Can someone tell me whether this does or doesn't have the lie flat seat?

If you see a seat map showing 1x2x1 configuration then a lay flat seat.

If you see a seat map 2x2x2 then it would be a tilted lay flat seat.

The former is more likely.

Thanks - it's the 1x2x1 so very happy about that. The last leg of a very long trip.

QF - Y Emergency exit seats...which ones?

G'day folks, first trip down under coming up and flying some internals PER/BNE SYD/AKL/MEL which are fairly long economy sectors (for most of us non Aussie's anyway!). Managed to bag Exit seats on what look like 737-800 aircraft. Gone for 13A on them all. Either this or 14. Any preference?
thanks

Read on here: https://www.ausbt.com.au/best-econom...ow-to-get-them

FWIW, I have mainly sat in row 13 C or D - I think seats 13A and 13F are missing the armrest next to the cabin wall. This is assuming I couldn't get row 04.

Is this a relatively new layout for the A330-200 refresh? 27J seats? Can't seem to find a seatmap for a 27J aircraft anywhere? Edit - I have on their official site, not on any of the third parties.. apologies / delete please

See here:

& here:

This is the newer international version with two lavatories in Business.

To be honest - keep you eye on this seat map as it has a good chance of changing as there are only the three in the fleet currently.

Hello! QF newbie here. I'm booked on J class on LA806 which is a code share with QF27, SYD to SCL. My seat number is 15K but my research seems to show that there is no row 15. Am I missing something...? If anyone can let me know if that is a good seat, window or aisle, that will be great. Thank you!

It seems to be the nature of the codeshare arrangement.

QF has seats 1AB and 1JK.
QF has seats 2AB. LA has seats 2JK.
QF has seats 3AB. LA has seats 3EF and 3JK.
QF has seats 5B, 5DEF and 5J.
QF has seats 6AB and 6DEF. LA has seats 6JK.

And so on.

All of row 15 is a LA row.

I think that this may be the seat map of the entire aircraft: QANTAS B747-400 58J/36W/270Y Seat Map

On the A380 in J and would like a window seat. Which row would you go for, 11 or 13?

Row 13.

11K has a medical power supply and there is a good change you'd be asked to move if you did not need it yourself.

Also, row 13 is my preference as the handholds on the back of row 12 seats are significantly better than those of row 11 should you wish to access the aisle without disturbing your reclining 'seatmate'.

Thanks! Does 11A also have the medical power supply?

Not that I am aware of - but I try to avoid row 11 for the other reason mentioned.

One great facet of the window seats are the side bins with a seat that has very little hand reachable storage otherwise.

Hello,

Could I please get some advice on seat choice for the A330-200. I am scheduled to fly on QF20 Manila-Sydney on the 20th of April in economy.

What seat do you recommend for a solo traveller (window a must)?

It seems like I am flying on the version with Y243 so it will be the configuration with no IFE screens correct? How is the iPad entertainment? I was hoping for the A330-300 with the new IFE but alas that day it is operated on the -200...
