Against the window. More privacy, less likely to be bumped, or have someone walking a few inches from your face while you sleep.

737-800

Any advice on where to sit on the 737-800. Exit row is available but I don't know if the armrests move, one flight is a red-eye and there are two of us.

Grab an exit row if you can

So let me guess, you either have not flown in J on an A388 and do not know or you have an active dislike of new(ish) posters to the Qantas boards.

Either way your response to my question did not meet the standards that Flyertalk aspires to.

In this case seatguru is fairly accurate (nothing outstanding). Rows 11-13 are generally reserved for Qantas platinum status so might lead to a quieter cabin and better service. The main section is huge. If rows 11-13 are all gone, take your pick. If I understand correctly, the WCs at the rear of the cabin are shared with premium economy, so perhaps best to avoid seats in that area.

The seats in QF's 747s and A380s are getting old now. They are not supported at the foot end by an ottoman, so over time some seats have developed a droop and not provide a full flat sleeping surface.

Whereas your refusal to perform a search to a question that has been answered many times is disrespectful to the many of us who take effort to considerably post here.

Your first assertion is laughable.

I'm on this plane in business MEL-PER:
https://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Qa...A330-200_C.php

All seats are open except row 2. Usually I like row 1 -- is it any better than any other row on this plane? Should I take 1A to be in front or 4A to be next to the window?

1A = staring at the bulkhead. Lack of privacy because on the aisle. Plenty of foot traffic to the single toilet assigned to business class.

4A = privacy. Quiet spot in cabin.

The difference in terms of exit from the aircraft will be minimal between rows 1 and 4, row 4 might even be quicker depending on which door is used.

QF 16 - 747 - row 1/2?

I'm almost at T-80 - was going to try to move from row 6 to row 1. But scanning this thread - I see that rows 1 and 2 don't have personal storage? Is that correct. I thought it would be cool to look forward.
