I agree that the media is handling these things awfully. Look at the "cell phone terrorists"; they were all over the news when arrested, with all the anchors and commentators talking about how cell phones are used in making IEDs. When the terorrism charges vanished, I didn't see the major news outlets running stories at all. :( |

The jets were there to shoot down the plane before any bomb could be detonated, of course. Better safe than sorry.
