Supposedly a picture of her: http://images.google.com/images?svnu...yo%22+Pakistan

Well, I might have tot ake my words back. She met a man from Pakistan on line, prior to Sept 11. It might be a personal mission.
I met Junaid, a Pakistani man, on line before September 11. He is talking about marriage, so I need to get to know him better before I bring him into the US on a fiancé visa. He was refused a visitor visa to the US, so I have come here. |

But really. What are the odds of two paranoid "journalists" named Catherine Mayo living in Pakistan at the same time? The writings of the journalist are so consistant with what we're told happened on the plane, it would be hard for me to conclude that there could be two of them. In any event, it would not surprise me at all if the picture is either old, or is not her. Why haven't we seen a "perp walk," anyway? |
Press Release from the U.S. Attorney's office. Not a whole lot of new information: http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/st...4418248&EDATE=

No offense but this thread was a waste of time. What really happened on the flight was much more interesting!
|
To me it read like the passenger is an eccentric who was toying with the crew; but it also read like the crew overreacted and could have had the matter dealt with at IAD just as well. There was clearly at least one paranoid member of the crew -- that is, it's common for at least someone to be a bit nosy about why the capitain or flight crew is dealing with some passenger and/or doing so repeatedly.
