My flights departs on 19th Nov to MIA in J, but I am unable to access my booking to add API. Even the agent on whatsapp couldn't access it. Tried for 6 consecutive days now. Msg stating technical problems, this on the website and on the app. Eventually will need to call. Anyone had similar problems?

Just do it on check in.

What about the 75 hours deadline before the flight. Won't that be an issue for the US authorities?

How do lap infant tickets work on Starlux? You booked an award through Alaska, I imagine?

Yeah, we booked two Starlux flights with Alaska miles and then called Starlux and they sold us the lap infant ticket for 10% of the adult cash fare (about 600 USD all-in for both flights). Agent was very competent and had no problems ticketing, much unlike when I called Condor...

My wife and I flew Condor on Oct. 1st in Business Prime from Frankfurt to Halifax, NS. We had stayed overnight in the Airport Hilton, so we checked in extremely early and hit the Lufthansa Business Lounge. Everything went smoothly. Boarding a bus to a remote stand is not great but it is what it is. On board, the seats were big and comfortable as advertised, the food was very plentiful and good, the IFE was not great from the point of view of content. One disadvantage of the middle prime seats is absolutely no possibility of seeing outside. The prime window seats were unoccupied on this flight and the privacy barriers were up, so no chance to see the landing. I suppose I could have moved to a window seat before landing, but I didn’t bother. The vaunted snack basket was delivered too late in the flight to be of any use, and the stuff in there really was junk anyway. It took us a couple weeks to finally eat it or throw it away. The amenity kits were disposable cardboard cases rather than the brand name cases other airlines give out, which I keep for all kinds of uses. A couple of nice creams inside, nothing remarkable.
We flew back to Germany from Toronto on Lufthansa’s 747 on the upper deck using Reward Miles. Much older Business seats but everything very solid and comfortable.
We’re off to Bangkok at the end of November on Condor, once again in Business Prime. We’ll see how it is on a much longer overnight flight.

Do the A330-900 neos have a garment closet for business class passengers to hang a suit?

Changes in Condor's 2025 schedule: how did it affect you?It looks like Condor is eliminating non-stop flights from Phoenix to Frankfurt from its 2025 schedule, along with some other routes. For those of you who already bought tickets for these disappearing flights, has Condor contacted you yet? What alternatives have they offered? A full refund? Re-routing? And specifically, what did they offer as a replacement for PHX- FRA route?

Blame Lufthansa for all of this.
The German high court has recently issued a final ruling in a long legal battle between Condor and LH in favor of LH who was seeking to and now is allowed to unilaterally exit the long-running SPA the two airlines had in place (feeder flight agreement at favorable conditions) that dates back to the pre-deregulation times of the early 1990s when Condor was still an LH subsidiary. Without that SPA which was getting passengers onto Condor longhaul flights, and faced with significant price increases and capacity reductions as LH and group subsidiaries basically can charge whatever they want for those feeder flight seats (the LH group now has a near-monopoly on intra-German flights) Condor had no other option than to adapt. Contrary to decades ago, LH has no longer an interest in feeding passengers to an airline at favorable rates that now has evolved into a prime competitor to its core longhaul business.

I don't think so. The business class seats have coat hooks that look like they're sturdy enough to handle a suit bag.

No closet is very disappointing

They changed me from non-stop PHX - FRA to PHX-SEA-FRA .... I would prefer PHX-LAX-FRA , but then they would to mix partner availability. Both are available but I prefer not to have separae tickets in case of IRROP. Read somewhere that they wanted to introduce that "this winter" > anyone know when?

Are you referring to Alaska as "they"?

For questions about Alaska's schedule, I suspect youd have better luck in the Alaska forum than this forum.

I've tried looking for this and can't find exactly what the answer should be so hoping someone here has had a similar experience.

Recently I booked a Condor Business class flight from SEA - FRA using Alaska Miles. It comes with 2 checked bags.

Later, I decided to make FRA a {almost free} award stopover with my final destination PMI. The Alaska agent who booked this for me said there was no Business award availability on the FRA - PMI leg and so they would have to book it in Economy. It appears that Condor does not open up any award availability to partners in Intereuropean Business Class. I can't find this to be written anywhere, can anyone confirm this? I asked Condor via chat if there was any way to do a paid upgrade to Business class but they stated that it would need to be handled by Alaska. I am hoping someone can give me insight since Alaska didn't seem to be able to do it at time of booking.

The reason I even care for a business class seat is:

I need a second bag checked for the FRA - PMI leg. Right now my Condor ticket is "Economy Classic" for this leg and states it comes with "1x 20kg hold baggage". When I went to add a second checked bag, the only option seems to be to 'add additional excess baggage of XX kg' in increments of 5kg. An additional 20kg adds $80 to the cost. I don't want to make my first bag heavier, I would like to add a second checked bag. Am I paying for an overall weight between all hold bags and can bring as many as I want? I have never seen an airline that operates this way if so. Then theoretically with 20kg I could just bring 4x 5kg bags? When I messaged Condor Customer Service on WhatsApp they quoted me $150 for an additional 20kg, and the option to add it online now no longer exists.

Is there any possibility of trying to pay to upgrade to business before the day of departure? Condor seems to charge more for checked luggage at the airport and if I wait until then and get charged their excess fee of $13/kg then I might as well have paid for a business class seat outright in the first place rather than tried to do this Alaska Award Stopover game.

TL;DR:

-Can a connecting flight on Condor (Intereuropean) that is booked via Alaska Miles be upgraded in any way to Business Class?

-Can I purchase an extra checked bag with Condor or am I paying for extra weight on my first bag when it says "Additional Excess Baggage"?

Thank you!
