Another interesting difference in the fare rules: the rules in the GDS contain:

FLIGHT APPLICATION: E. ONLY ONE INTERCONTINENTAL DEPARTURE AND ONE
INTERCONTINENTAL ARRIVAL PERMITTED IN EACH
CONTINENT EXCEPT AS FOLLOWS -
1. TWO PERMITTED IN NORTH AMERICA.
2. TWO PERMITTED IN ASIA.
3. TWO PERMITTED IN EUROPE/MIDDLE EAST FOR
TRAVEL TO/FROM/VIA AFRICA. IF TRAVEL IS TO/FROM
EUROPE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS ITINERARY MAY NOT
INCLUDE MAURITIUS/SOUTH AFRICA.
Which permits two visits to Asia without restriction.

The fare rules in the OneWorld PDF contain:

4. FLIGHT APPLICATION / ROUTINGS
  1. (e) Only one intercontinental departure and one intercontinental arrival permitted in each continent except as follows:
    1. Two permitted in North America.
    2. Two permitted in Asia when one is for travel between the Southwest Pacific and

      Europe/Middle East.
    3. Two permitted in Europe/Middle East for travel to/from/via Africa.

If travel is to/from Europe in both directions, itinerary may not include Mauritius/South Africa.
Which restricts a second Asia visit to being part of travel between Europe and South Pacific.

Hey pandaperth, do you still update this? I have found it immensely valuable over the years and was wondering if you are still keeping the changelog.

Yes I do - my computer reminds me to on the first of every month
There have been no changes since March last year (just checked again before posting)

We can expect one or two changes this year- when Royal Air Maroc joins, and when LaTam leaves the alliance

2020-Apr-01 New Version of the Rule Sheet (AT joins alliance)

I usually use diffchecker to find the changes, but for some reason it nowadays flags pretty much the whole document as being different (which it isn't)

So I scanned through the new version and the only changes I've spotted are to do with AT (Royal Air Maroc) joining the alliance

PandaPerth: yet again we are indebted to you. You're always one step ahead.

I always used to download the newest RTW rules by going to https://www.oneworld.com/images/faqs/oneworldFAQPDF.pdf

but this now points to the old Feb 2019 version. Could you share the URL or method of downloading the latest version, please?

Oneworld.com does seem to keep moving the link to the rules; this is the page I have been keeping bookmarked:
https://www.oneworld.com/world-travel
Scroll down to oneworld Explorer, the hyperlink leads to the current version of the rules:

2021-Apr-01 New Version of the Rule Sheet - AS joins Oneworld

According to diffchecker the main changes are to do with AS joining Oneworld
(there are other minor changes)

In particular:
"... only one flight to Anchorage (ANC) and one flight from Anchorage (ANC) permitted."
has been changed to
"only one flight to State of Alaska and one flight from State of Alaska permitted."
AA has been flying Fairbanks as well as to Anchorage, so for a while there it was possible to make two trips to Alaska
