Perhaps not, but these routes could be extremely useful for those earning status in programs such as Qantas Frequent Flyer, where short F or J sectors can be good earners, depending on cost.

HND-ITM is 249 miles. You better REALLY need some points to use that on a AONE.

Looking around for F flights on OW, can't seem to find anything between PEK and NRT.
Can folks help me find the best F flights if I want to go to these cities?
BOS-HKG-NRT-PEK-PNH-HTY-BOS
I want to keep BOS-HKG bc I can take CX via JFK. But the rest I'm not so picky about. Suggestions?

Thinking of booking traditional AA F Award rather than a RTW Award given that we're only going to a handful of cities over 3 weeks.
So something like JFK-HKG-JFK-(stopover at a later date)-YVR OR JFK-HKG, NRT-BOS-(somewhere else in North America)
Since we're just visiting REP,NRT, PEK, and HTY this might make more sense. Could get cheap inter-asia flights etc.
What do people think?

Ouch! Mixing LHR and LGW on an xONEx ticket is a painful waste of two segments.
Against their interest, OW is making xONEx more interesting to business travelers (who save big bucks over point-to-point premium travel and have no use for 16 segments) than holiday travelers (who are probably buying 'up' to a premium cabin).
