I didn't know it existed until last december when I noticed it on the monitor while I was in the lounge at LHR waiting for another flight. Considering I was flying LHR-SYD-PER it would have fit in nicely and saved me a segment.

Right, a surface sector does not count as a segment, but you still have one segment too many (21), and more than 4 SWP segments (5).

is there a miles restriction on done4

[QUOTE=JuPe]DGLOB34 (completed in Dec 2003 and March 2004, except for HEL-LHR-CAI not yet completed). Actual mileage is 33988 compared with the allowed 34000

I'm booking a route that will give me 67000 miles on done4. What is this 34k limit, i thought that was only on *A.?

As noted in your quote that is for a business class Global Explorer ticket (DGLOB34) which is mileage based as opposed to the OneWorld Explorer (DONEX) which is not.

Hi Viajero I hope you had a good weekend I have now finalised my Rtw ,and it has been accepted ,according to mrs Sobhi Emeco , however AA are confused and did not agree that my It, is okay , hopefully I have put them clear on the matter .Is it cheaper Ba RTw 46270 egp( excluding taxes) or will AA be cheaper, as they have not given me a fare . comments welcome One more point I read that jnb to per was a qf code share with saa However if the flight number is QF first ,does this then mean that you will get Qf tier points ? Thanks eveybody for their help ,and I hope through joining this website that some how I can be of assistance as my knowledge of FF increases ELo

With a OWE you cannot fly codeshares operated by non-Oneworld airlines, and SAA is not OW.

Very peculiar. You say a LONE4, but then you are following more of a Global Explorer type of itinerary including limiting yourself to 26,000 miles. I expect it's the latter so that's what I will assume.

First, Air France is not a Oneworld partner, or did you mean QF?

Second, if it is in fact a Global Explorer, you can only have five stopovers and only two per "region". The rules more or less define a "region" as a continent

If my assumption is wrong and this is in fact a LONE4, then you can't use FJ (or AF). So you might want to clarify what youre trying to do.

67000 mile itin on done4

i've been asked to post my 67k itin. happy to: i've been working on three versions, out of IST, BKK , CMB. Didn't post before because it is not finalized. Here they are, enjoy:

From CMB - 67158 miles

cmb-hkg-bom-syd,cbr-per-drw-syd-hkg-del-hkg-jfk-sjo-lax-sju-jfk-sjo-lhr-dxb-lhr-hkg-cmb

note: no stopovers between cmb-syd (so that i can come back to Asia)

From BKK - 67089 miles

bkk-bom-syd,cbr-per-drw-mel,syd-bom,del-hkg-del-hkg-jfk-sjo-lax-sju-jfk-sjo-lhr-dxb-lhr-sin-bkk

From IST - 67,717 miles

ist-lhr-dxb-lhr-syd,cbr-per-drw-mel,syd-bom,del-hkg-del-hkg-jfk-sjo-lax-sju-jfk-sjo-lax-lhr-ist

Idea is to see the world with my fiancee, get AA EXP and, 150k miles (assuming AA comps my *G status, I've lost my platinum status)

Invalid - you start in Asia, go to SWP, come back to Asia, go to NA and Eur and then come back to Asia to finish off. You can't do HKG-DEL-HKG in the middle there

From BKK - 67089 miles

bkk-bom-syd,cbr-per-drw-mel,syd-bom,del-hkg-del-hkg-jfk-sjo-lax-sju-jfk-sjo-lhr-dxb-lhr-sin-bkk
Invalid - same problem here

From IST - 67,717 miles

ist-lhr-dxb-lhr-syd,cbr-per-drw-mel,syd-bom,del-hkg-del-hkg-jfk-sjo-lax-sju-jfk-sjo-lax-lhr-ist
this one looks good

IN addition to the problem in the first two routes noted by alec, there is no direct flight from SJO to LHR which means you have to route through MIA or JFK which means an extra segment giving you 21.

Ticketed DONE4 for April. 10 month layover in Boston

IST-LHR-PVG,PEK-HKG-BKK-SIN-PER-SYD-CHC,WLG-AKL-MEL-LAX-BOS,BOS-ORD-SLC-ORD-BOS,BOS-LHR-TLV-LHR-IST

Full 20 segments. EUR4358 + 540 taxes. My aim is to visit these places, not to accumulate miles. However, it will keep my wife and me in BA silver for two years (when combined with a BOS-IST-BOS to start and end.)
