Please post or PM me with EQ miles greater than 60,000!

I haven't actually flown any of these, but in my preparation for my first DONE, I have collected these over the last three months, modified them, and toyed with them. I want 66,667 AA EQP for EXP, then post any extra AA miles to AS to get MVP. I don't care where I start.

Here are a couple I concocted. Our own first DONE4 starts in January - point of departure TBA (WAW? IST? KRK? Or how about PRN? Stay tuned.)

IST-MAD-SCL-IPC-SCL-LAX-BOS-DFW-ANC-DFW-SJU-JFK-SYD-PER-NRT-HKG-NRT-LHR-DXB-LHR-IST, 67,575 mi.

SYD-JNB-NBO-JNB-LHR-DXB-LHR-IST-LHR-LAX-BOS-DFW-ANC-ORD-PHX-JFK-HKG-DEL-HKG-NRT-SYD, 64,591 mi.

PER-NRT-HKG-DEL-HKG-JNB-LHR-DXB-LHR-IST-MAD-SCL-IPC-SCL-CCS-SCL-AKL-MEL-CNS-PER, 62,382 mi.

Somebody catch me if I've made any boo-boos. Useful brain challenge.

not sure if this counts

Upcoming DONE4 beginning late September:

SYD-MEL QF 401

MEL-LAX QF 93

LAX-JFK QF 107

JFK-LHR BA 176

LHR-GLA BA 1476

GLA-DUB EI 223

DUB-LHR EI 182

LHR-MEL QF 10

MEL-BNE QF 704

BNE-PER QF 589

Why would you go LHR-YUL-ORD in J when you could go LHR-YYZ-ORD in F on BA? I suppose Montreal has its charms, but not in October (when a foot of snow is possible, albeit unlikely).

Currently on a DONE4:

ADL-MEL QF J
MEL-NRT QF J
NRT-HKG CX J
HKG-KUL CX J
KUL-HKG CX J
HKG-LHR BA J
LHR-LED BA J
LED-LHR BA J
LHR-IST BA J
IST-LHR BA J
LHR-LAX BA J
LAX-SJU AA J
SJU-EWR AA J
EWR-ORD AA F
ORD-LNK AA Y

Am currently in LNK (which is the point of the whole trip)
Supposed to be going LNK-ORD AA in Y on Dec 25, but AA stop flying this route next week. They have re-booked the ticket with UA on Dec 25 to ORD so hopefully I'll be able to make the connection back to OZ. To continue...

ORD-LNK AA(UA) Y
ORD-LAX AA F
LAX-SYD QF J (Will W/L for an upgrade to F (Z))
SYD-ADL QF J

Total 20 flights. All miles credited to QFF. Enough to retain WP fot this year.

From memory I think that the miles come to about 45,000

I am taking a stopover after the 1st segment of my new RTW (1-Oct CAI-LHR) by returning to the US on an award ticket that I made last Oct 2003. In Oct, the flight to Montreal leaves after 5PM while the Toronto flight leaves a few hours earlier. Should have noted that in the routining.

Not quite a RTW, but a good Circle Pacific in May 04:

BNE-SYD (QF 738) 467 miles 1,250 points 30 SCs
SYD-LAX (QF 744) 7,488 miles 16,855 points 160 SCs
LAX-LAS (AA S80) 236 miles 1,250 points 30 SCs
LAS-DFW (AA 752) 1,055 miles 2,633 points 60 SCs (magic 1,000 mile mark)
DFW-SFO (AA S80) 1,464 miles 3,653 points 60 SCs
SFO-HKG (CX 744) 6,927 miles 8,648 points 160 SCs (if booked AA add 6,918 status points. Ouch!)
HKG-BNE (QF 763) 4,306 miles 9,684 points 100 SCs

Total 21,943 miles, 43,973 points, and 600 QF Status Credits.

An option was CX102 HKG-CNS, then QF CNS-BNE. On the day I wanted to fly, CX102 was direct, so took QF098 instead. If available, this would be 21,950 miles, and 630 status credits. Conversely, the HKG-CNS would earn no status bonus points.

Remember - if you want QF status bonus points, book any CX flights with the AA or BA codeshare where possible.

Status bonus
The higher your status the higher your points earning rate. This is known as a Status bonus. A Status bonus is awarded to Silver, Gold and Platinum Frequent Flyers when they fly on eligible Qantas, American Airlines and British Airways flights*. The Status bonus is calculated as a percentage increase of the base Economy accrual rate.

Silver - 25% Status bonus per mile
Gold - 50% Status bonus per mile
Platinum - 100% Status bonus per mile

Could you please explain...as I understood the conditions, you earn SCs on QF, FJ and any other OW member airlines.

I think what willyroo meant is that if you book CX flights under the BA or AA designators you'll get bonus points, rather than status credits. Eg 100% bonus points for using the BA flight #, plus relevant class of service bonus.
