I tried to ask once, if it would be possible to send e-mail but the agent said that RTW desk doesn't handle with e-mails at all.
On my current AA issued ticket that have been reissued multiple times, on the e-ticket it shows the original fare and when I look the booking at the AA.com, it also shows up the fare.
On my upcoming QF issued ticket it shows incorrect fare on the e-ticket (now up to date fare, some as in EF) and on AA.com it doesn't show fare at all for the booking. The fare was showing correctly before first reissue. I guess I will get the answer only after miles from first AA legs have been credited to my account, somewhere in January.
Because I booked more suitable routing with QF, I need to cancel my first exMPM booking with AA at some point. I understood before, that refund amount would be calculated from the original fare currency. However, when I called and almost cancelled because MZN have been weakening more in previous days, the agent said that the refund amount is tied to the USD amount that I paid. The agent checked the information with the rates desk.
If the refund amount is tied to fare equivalent in USD, I would cancel the booking as late as possible, just in case if it happens that I could not use the booking that I made with QF. But if the refund amount is calculated from original fare in MZN, then I need to cancel the double reservation immediately because MZN is still too risky.
Could someone confirm the refund currency policy as I don't trust that res agent? The situation is bit different than before when everyone paid in local currency, but now airline have converted the local currency to USD.
I almost always see RTW trips show as $0 after the ticket is reissued. I'm not sure that means AA "lost the price information" since the e-ticket shows that it was an even exchange for an earlier ticket, which does show the price. It's possible, of course, so please do let us know.

On the topic of seeing fares, is there a website where you can input your PNR and get a breakdown of the taxes and so forth? My ticket is QF-issued and all I have it the e-ticket which doesn't provide a breakdown.

Checked in baggage allowance information shows up somehow usually only for first two legs.

Another nice thing about Tripcase is it will give you the PNRs for the non-Sabre airlines. Checkmytrip.com (Amadeus version) should be able to do the same thing.

Sorry for asking this again (I realized this might be a better place than the QR forum), but does QR tend to block availability for AONE tickets? Can't see to see any availability between DOH and LHR; some flights don't even show up allowing you to choose business instead of A.

Have you tried waitlisting? A class is often zeroed but not usually closed, indicating they might confirm waitlisted passengers quickly.

Currently trying to get a DONE3 priced (NRT-JFK-DFW-PDX-LAX-PHL-DTW-DFW-DOH-OSL-LHR-DXB-LHR-ICN-HKG-SIN-HND). With the rule changes removing higher price of country of sale vs country of origin and the interline issues, it is currently with a local travel agent to build (have a DONE3, DAS13 and 2 side trips to try and get into same PNR).
One flight, QF2 (LHR-DXB) NOV11, is giving some issues. Travel agent insists D (and C) is booked out. Flight appears as available in booking tool. Expert Flyer lists it as J9 C9 D0 (was showing D2 yesterday).
I told her that QF generally opens D for status holders when J/C is available, so she's waitlisted it and it is waiting for QF to look at it.
Any ideas?
Why would the booking tool and EF be showing more availability then the agent is seeing in Travelport (Galileo)?
Since it has my QFF number loaded, the Amadeus linked sectors (DTW-HND) are showing up in my QFF account. It looks like she's got DTW-DFW in Y. Looks like I'm going to have to remind them that D books into A on 2 class flights in NA.

Is this sector married to any other sector (i.e., does it connect under 24 hours to or from any other sector)? If so, when you searched on EF, did you include the other sectors?
Point of sale. Availability on a flight depends on where you are physically located when you search for it.
Which point of sale is she using? (Where is the TA physically based?)
Which point of sale did you choose in ExpertFlyer? EF only has two options, LON and NYC.
GDS issues. GDSes are unreliable.
EF gets its data from Galileo, so it should not differ too much. But you know these things are very buggy.
You can sometimes hack the Matrix into showing you availability by changing the point of sale under the advanced options, using the ; f bc=X flag to select prime booking code X, and then trying to construct some kind of itinerary that duplicates your married segment over that part of the itinerary, and is otherwise a valid priceable itinerary. Matrix cannot handle RTW fares so you have to find some other valid combination of flights, check if it is priceable with with "Only show seats with availability" turned off, and then see if it still prices with "Only show seats with availability" turned on, thereby deducing if it is availability-constrained. But it is a bit of a hack.
