This is the routing in both notations:
OSL-xDOH-xLHR-HND-DEL-KUL-xNRT-HKG-xJFK-LAX-xDFW-EZE-GIG-JFK-xLHR-xDOH-OSL.
OSL-doh-lhr-HND-DEL-KUL-nrt-HKG-jfk-LAX-dfw-EZE-GIG-JFK-lhr-doh-OSL.
The JFK-LHR marquee flight was something i wanted to always do on AA (av geek thing), so that is why i am not going straight to DOH.

Which OneWorld carrier flies that?

KUL can have high airport fees/charges.
JL surcharges, while lower than BA or IB, can still add up.

So i finally made progress and got a DONE4 itinerary rated and ready to purchase with AA RTW desk.
It originates in OSL. Looking at the chart from Dec 2024 posted in this thread, the base fare for that should be $5095. But i was quoted a Base Fare of $5,469.00. Is there a way to check this information for accuracy ?

The USD is down against the NOK since December 2024, which would explain the price difference in USD

I am good with where i am now, I want to now focus on how to maximize FF mileage accrual. Hoping to use AA and AY FFPs for accruing miles. Is there a downside to accruing miles with two progams as compared to one. I have ZERO status with OW and since in a Star Alliance hub city, the RTWs will be my main source of OW flying.
I am sure now this will be main source of RTW flying.

Thanks for that information. That makes sense. Still almost a $200 discrepancy in conversion from NOK to USD. Should be $5275 based on yesterdays conversion rates. Maybe, maybe they set that based on 1st Mar rates.

What status/ff miles-avios do you hope to get? Better to get OW Sapphire with one ffp. AY OWS gives you lounge access. AA OWS has limited lounge access. Avios ff currency is used by QR, BA, AY, IB & IE
Changing frequent flyer numbers is a reservation can be problematic. Does not always work. At times a boarding pass can the 1 ffn printed, but still credit to the other.

Why 2 ffp's?

Agreed it takes some savvy and effort to ensure things credit where you want. It helps that you'll likely fly batches of segments with a given airline and thus crediting to the same place if earning is the driver.

One way to secure crediting without error is not to add ffp on the booking... Then request missing credit by segment for whatever programs you want. I realize people don't like this idea because certain airlines don't grant benefits like seat selection to non status holders .. but it's going to be difficult as airlines become more attuned to the idea of stealing benefits without crediting the miles.

To add a data point:
I am currently trying to change FFN in my upcoming DONE3 from BA to AY and it is quite a task...
All Amadeus airlines were easy to change, only noticable things so far are lost seat selection on JL domestic (apparently my original seat row is only availble for elites) and on trans-atlantic IB sector.
For AA flights had to call them as their website would not keep my added (new) number after they had removed the old number.
Same for AS flights, when calling guy says he now sees 2 numbers in the system but was able to remove the old one (again their website did not offer to change FFN at all).
This I still need to check, it is still in the what I call "cool down / sync phase"
Ergo:
If you want to swap number be prepared for multiple rounds with agents, double (better triple) check and do it all well in advance your journey so all the backend systems / databases / whatever have enough time to sync...

We earned the status, it shouldn't matter where we put the miles on that particular flight.
I need 250k LPs for AA EXP plus upgrades, I went WAY over that last year so credited a bunch of flights to other programs, plus even flew off-alliance a few times. I never once felt that I was stealing benefits though, but every one of those was a business class flight anyway, so in the OW ones I just showed my AA card for First lounge access.I didn't have any of the domestic JL flights where they do restrict seats for OW Emeralds or JL Diamonds, but if I had I'd have just added my AA number at booking and changed to QR or BA at departure, that's certainly not stealing as I'd already paid for business class anyway.

Just wanted to share a datapoint. As u/pandaperth accurately stated that the base fare for DONE4 is NOK 57,959.
But when AA system does the currency conversion to USD they do not have the realtime exchange rates. So when I was first quoted the base fare was $5,469 dollars, which was off by some. But i had them price a itinerary from ARN. And than revert back to OSL a couple of days later. And this time the base fare calculated was $5,390.

There a lot of super experts who have forgotten more of this than i will ever know. So guys what should be my FF gameplan for my itinerary.
I do not have any status with any OW FFP. I will be doing at the very least on RTW per year from now on.
<snip>
How do i go about it. I was planning to let them enter the FFP at checkin. But should i ask them at time of reservation (now) to enter FFP by each flight segment ?

Questions about crediting flights to ffp's better asked in other threads
