C and D are connected Delta terminals post security and are interchangeable in terms of anything special. I can't really think of any restaurant in D. There is a newsstand that sells magazines, water, gum, etc.

Here's a map of C & D: https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...laguardia.html

Terminal D in the center of the gates has a bar with iPads.

Any recent experience with the car traffic situation getting to LGA terminal C/D? I've got a Delta flight departing at exactly Noon on Thursday, and wondering when I should leave Midtown East by car service to get to my flight. Will 9:30AM be early enough?

Plenty early. If you leave at 10am, you'll be through security and at your gate by 11am.

Thursday at 6:00 pm - no traffic at the Main Terminal (UA/AA/b6). It felt like a Sunday morning at 0800.

The Delta Terminal C had some moderate traffic, but bearable.

I'll be there later this week, but I can't possibly imagine anything substantial has changed--they're doing so much ground prep and foundational work.

Agreed. I would not expect this to change for the foreseeable (and possibly for the unforeseeable) future.

My experience has been they have done a decent job of keeping automobile traffic moving reasonably well, avoiding the traffic jams that were reported last year, but still it's not easy to move between terminals on foot. AA does operate an airside shuttle among Terminal C and concourses C and D of Terminal B. This is for AA passengers, but they don't check boarding passes; I don't see them turning people away.

Thanks! I just did this. I was on AA, but was only going over to Terminal B to meet a coworker (who was also on AA). I did tell that to the employee and she didn't have a problem with it - they didn't check boarding passes but did ask for a gate number.

I get the impression that they ask for a gate number not because they're trying to police who rides the bus but rather because they want to make sure they get you to the right place. For example, sometimes the bus will skip stopping at concourse C of Terminal B if no one on the bus is headed there and no one is waiting there to be picked up.

Yeah, it's almost amazing they were able to snake 2 (narrow) lanes of traffic through the site. Since the construction extends pretty much from the GCP to the tarmac, this road is the only way through and you do NOT want to walk along it.

Yes, we arrived at LGA around 9:30 am on a Thursday earlier this month and departed by Lyft, and traffic was moving quite well both when were taking the shuttle bus to the rideshare pickup point and leaving the airport in the Lyft.

Reporting that nothing has really changed. Still a huge construction site. Wouldn't be surprised if there no walkway access until the terminal buildings open and you can walk indoors.

A bit bit of traffic Thurs around 3pm heading in on 94th St. M60 bus a bit of a cluster. Terrible (slow) driver, then they decided to make us get off right before the airport and switch buses. Almost an hour from 125th & Malcolm X
