I booked a midsize for the EA/ES. I suppose I could've argued, but the rate difference for a premium was only $5 for the weekend...

Do you use a corporate rate or EC weekend rate?

T1 @ 4:00 pm

SUV heavy on both EA and ES. Murano was everywhere. New addition to the fleet is the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL which from what I saw was in Limited trim. Took one for myself with 101 kms. Well equipped, although the NAV SD card was missing. Android Auto is available which somewhat counteracts that. Didn't have time to check the others for the SD.

Corporate rate. With the free one-class upgrade, I pay the fullsize rate for a premium res, which was about $41/day all in.

Sunday night @ T1
Lots of SUVs
Only sedan on ES was a 7,000km 300S w/ navi

I am hoping I can get a 7-seater on Thursday. I am only renting for one day, and they'll have the car back by 11am on Friday (Canada Day Holiday).

I've reserved a standard SUV as it was the largest I could get, the system would not offer any minivans or Full-Size SUVs.

I'll be the driver, so I'll have a comfortable seat; it's the three adults in the back who might not be so happy for the 300km drive Friday morning.

Fingers Crossed!

I've been seeing a lot of Durangos and Flexes on the aisles lately so it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe it has something to do with gas prices going back up. There's also Yukons which you can ask for and they'd definitely give you a Traverse on an SFAR reservation.

There were lots of mid-size SUVs in the Executive Aisle for my last trip. There was a sole Buick Enclave which also was the only 7-seat SUV that I ended up taking.

Just returned car one way from DTW. Very slim pickings.

EA:
Elantra, 3 Altimas, Scion iM, Kia Soul GDI

ES:
Camry LE, Nissan Rogue, Malibu LT, F-150 XLT, Kia Soul GDI, Sonata, Nissan Micra

Premium
A4, A3, Mustang GT

As I sat waiting for my ride to come pick me up, they pulled in a Sonata, Frontier SV, Outlander and Grand Cherokee all in ES.

T3 Pearson yesterday afternoon:

Fancy Buick Lacrosse
Ford Taurus
Doge Charger AWD

I ended up taking a Ford Fusion Titanium Edition.

One thing I don't get about Pearson... why does the T1 ES always have basically the same cars as the Aisle, and T3 usually doesn't even have any cars in the Aisle, with everyone choosing from the ES??

Kind of defeats the whole point of getting to Executive status!

If you don't mind me asking why you chose Fusion over Taurus or Lacrosse? Fuel economy?

I would probably choose a Fusion Titanium over either of those as well. A very comfortable well optioned car.

Ron.
