The dreaded SUV. I might just move it back downtown, even though I know the luxury rental will be what ever one car they have there.

Ah well, I have a few of these booked both at YYZ and Wellington.

see how it goes first, usually they have two Q50's. they might even put you a standard sport if nothing comparable, i've had that happen. they are usually good with demand but depends on inventory.

You may also get a BMW X1 at YYZ which is a Standard Elite SUV.

There was a Cadillac XTS at Wellington a couple weeks ago. First time I've seen a Cadillac in the Canadian fleet.

National is also starting to get in some new Maximas (premium) and also have the Taurus as a premium. Some new Nissan Murano SUVs also.

I got one of the Maximas at YYZ a couple weeks ago. Before taking check if the SD card is there (top right of the touch screen). If not, skip it, as it makes the system unusable.

I got a under 1000km Blue Dodge Caravan as a standard minivan rental last Friday. Put a lot of kilos on her!

I was at the Wellington location(Downtown Toronto) late September and had a premium booked. The lot was filled with decent cars:

-Taurus Limited
-2015 Ford Explorer Limited (Which we took...this car is impressive versus the previous years!)
-Jeep Wrangler
-GMC Acadia's
-Volvo XC60 (didn't seem to be fully loaded and they were trying to upsell)

It was a sea of mid size SUVs nissan, gmc, chevy and Ford, half a dozen Chrysler caravans, one Jeep wrangler, a few sonatas and an altima.
I guess all the good summer stuff is gone.

Does YYZ not offer Luxury then? Seems odd if Downtown does, usually its the airport locations with the biggest selection?

The nicest car I've had out of YYZ in 2015 was an X3 which I was given on a PCAR res, and that was in February. They used to let you reserve LCARs but that seems to have mostly stopped.

They just got quite a few 2016 QX50 awd classified as RFAR. You might the able to get one on a premium reservation but most likely they will try to upsell.
Just a heads up, they are base trim models. The interior feels extremely outdated and does not have the Bose stereo.

Some new 2016 Chrysler 300S with Beats audio have been added to the fleet.

Also today for the first time Luxury is now bookable online or on the app at YYZ.
