Mabuk dan gila,

Thanks, for the explanation. I was thinking of closing my personal tomorrow and opening a new one right before the deadline in couple weeks. We'll see what happens.

BTW, the first 4 digits in each of the links are always 3678.

One link should always produce a "3678462" coupon. The other should always produce a "3678339" coupon. The first 4 digits being the same are OK so long as the first 7 digits in their entirety are from a different series than you have used before. This was confirmed for me by the Chase rep who opened my second business account. He called some kind of internal support department as to why his system would not accept my apparently valid coupon code and that was the specific reason whoever he was on the phone with cited and using a coupon code from a different series was the resolution that solved the problem.

Like I say. That was my second business account I opened in April. I did not save my coupons for either of my previous personal accounts after the miles posted so I have no idea if it inadvertently had any bearing on my ability to double dip now. Maybe I just got lucky. But it is something to try if it is not accepting another coupon.

I have checking account with Chase (it's from Washington Mutual deal, but it's Chase now). Will I qualify for this promo? Should I open business account?
Thanks

I keep getting message:

We're unable to process your information. The Coupon Code you entered has already been redeemed. To continue your application without the Coupon Code, click "Proceed Without Coupon Code."

It's a refreshed code, and the first 7 digits are different than my first code used. So what's wrong?

Just signed up for the latest Biz 25k checking account...actually needed one and have a real company so this works out perfectly! Thanks!

According to the T&C you wouldn't qualify but YMMV. It's recent that they added that langauge. In the past I just opened a second account for the miles with no problems.

Will it work if I close the first account and open a new one?

I went in to my local branch today and opened up another account. I guess now we wait to see what United promotions they will come up with.

Did anyone try opening a 2 biz accounts this calendar year and if so, did it work out?

That's exactly what I did and it worked. Just be sure to wait until your current account closes completely.

Question on the annual fee. Will the 2011 fee come out in January or 1 year from when the account was opened in 2010?

tsg20 Oct 17, 2010 10:22 am

Quick question - I suspect this has been covered already, but I can't search for "fifth" above - for the business account, do you have to make 5 debit card purchases for the second 15k miles, or just 1? For the personal accounts it seems to be clear that it's just 1 purchase (although the miles haven't posted for me yet), but I've noticed on the business account the headline says:

"Get another 15,000 bonus miles3 after your first qualifying purchase4 if you open a Chase Continental Airlines Business Debit Card (annual fee applies)5"

But footnote 3 says:

"The second 15,000 bonus OnePass mile award will be credited to your OnePass account after the fifth qualifying purchase is made. Please allow 6-10 weeks after your fifth qualifying purchase for bonus OnePass miles to post to your OnePass account. This bonus mile offer is not available to customers with an existing Chase checking account. Limit one 15,000 bonus OnePass miles premium per customer per calendar year. Chase reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice. Attempts to earn multiple premiums will be voided by Chase. "

[emphasis mine]. Can anyone who did this earlier this year confirm which is correct?

The annual fee is one year from when your account was opened in 2010.

Does only biz account's primary card earn OP miles?

A friend recently applied for the biz debit card. He has a legitimate small business, and was thinking of adding two employees, but told me that he just found out that only the primary card member's expenses earn miles. Somehow it seems wrong, but what do I know? Does anyone have experience with this?

diving in at the last minute here!

I still have some reading to do... I am just diving into this gig now lol

Wish me luck!

I have seen the link for updated 25k offer and will try to open this acct over the tel and also get the $25 debit card. I will most likely just do debit purchases since it's never clear what banks take ING and what ones do not for DD. I know BofA does but Citi does not.
