I don’t think there is much they can dispute. 7,400 miles X 3 family accounts is a lot of miles compared with what you usually get on the shopping portal.
It’s a shame one has to gather this much evidence for a AA shopping portal purchase to earn miles but that’s seems to be the way the system works unfortunately.
I am in the same boat - my store visit was tracked but purchases is not tracked. The CS got back to me after 15th day mark. When I purchased this, it definitely did not say monthly subscriptions are not eligible, and it said 45 days , not 60 days. They changed the T&C and is trying to quote the new T&C

Please know, your The Motley Fool order #12409024 has been deemed as ineligible to earn rewards by the terms and conditions for this merchant stated in the AAdvantage e-Shopping site.

The terms listed on the program website at the time of the purchase were:

"Eligible on one (1) subscription per loyalty account number. Only eligible on paid 1 year subscription to The Motley Fool. Monthly subscriptions are ineligible. Subscription must be active for at least 60 days. Not eligible on any free products, trials, services, memberships, subscriptions and retailer marketing subscriptions. Not eligible on purchases made with coupon or discount codes that are not found on this site. Not eligible on gift cards, gift certificates or any other similar cash equivalents."

Disclaimer "Monthly subscriptions are ineligible."

The MF offer on AA shopping portal doesn't even show the monthly option anymore to sign up to, only the yearly sub.

Could someone post or PM me a screenshot of the original terms and conditions? Usually I take one for something like this, but forgot to this time.

So I should effectively just cancel my Motley subscription and avoid this conundrum...?

I bought on the 15th, nothing showing up in transactions. Sounds like I should cancel... All I've gotten is a million crap stock picks in my inbox. WIX? Who's making websites these days?

I actually went with the RebatesMe offer when they were offering $100 for a subscription, though their website had no small print. We'll have to see if I missed out on the AA option. It sounds like it's one of those things that you had to jump on immediately because it didn't last long.

American Air Advantage customer service finally answered my inquiry (Cartera is yet to respond to any of my inquiries via their online form).
American said they will contact Contera on my behalf after 30 days from purchase date so Sept 5th for me.
They also had the standard form letter stuff that your purchase should show up in your order history when logged into the shopping portal. Mine and it seems many others it shows up under sites visited when logged into the shopping site but not under transactions though I did get confirmation emails from Motely.
Pain in the butt having to do all this work but it’s a lot of miles so I will keep fighting for now.

Question is, do I try to cancel inside the 30 day trial time and avoid this BS or wait until 45 days....I think I'll give up.

Yes, very shoddy service from Motley Fool. I have written to request cancellation of the subscription and a refund.

Not being based in the US it is unfortunately too difficult to go after AAdvantage legally.

I hope that Motley Fool process the request quickly, but otherwise thankfully I paid by credit card so can dispute by that route.

Seems they will honor it.....

Be aware that your order will honor the terms and conditions as they were when you made my purchase and not the current terms and conditions.

According to those terms and conditions the miles for your order would be posted within 45 days according terms and conditions. Like I mentioned in the response that sent, but seems the system did not process the outbound email response.

See below the terms and conditions of your order.

"Eligible on one (1) subscription per loyalty account number. Only eligible on paid Motley Fool subscription. Subscription must be active for at least 45 days. Not eligible on any free products, trials, services, memberships, subscriptions and retailer marketing subscriptions. Not eligible on purchases made with coupon or discount codes that are not found on this site. Not eligible on gift cards, gift certificates or any other similar cash equivalents."

If by October 10th you are unable to see your miles on your AAdvantage e-Shopping account. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do you have old TOS to email AAshopping ?
I guess mine won't be honored until I confront them with this bate and switch.
Can you PM me or post it here.
Thanks.

PS: That MF site is one heck of a spammer. 3 identical emails from different names with pitch to up-sale me some lifetime mage bonus of 500+ secret stocks. LOL.
