Which means is 5000 for $38, not $19, right?

Weird. My post just disappeared.

I don't see a monthly option here. Are cancellations pro-rated?

Have you actually received the points, cancelled the account before being charged for 45 days (2 months, perhaps) and had the points remain in your account for an extended period of time?

If you agree to receive 5K points in exchange for at least 45 days of service, it's easy to either charge the credit card you use for 2 months or pull the points from your account. Just receiving the miles isn't an irreversible outcome, IMHO.

Shows 5000 for me too. If its really only $19, the 3600 AS miles and 2600 UA miles through their respective portals are pretty good too..

I only see 5000 miles, not 7400 miles. I also don't see the $19 option. Would you mind linking me? Thanks!

The deal went back down to 5000 from yesterday's 7400 miles. You can still get the $19 option by clicking on offer titled "Stock Advisor: Join now for only $19 a month or $99 a year!".

If it's $99/yr required for 5k points, those points can just be purchased at one of the many 'sales" for approx 2 cents/mile, which is $100 for 5k.
It's slightly less than 2 cents usually, with the "bonus", which is a frequent offer, although the exact terms vary, but there's no need to "do it now".

You don't have to pay $99. It's $19 for one month. I did it, got the points, cancelled before the 2nd month was billed.
