Today I too received a message:
"After reviewing on our records with the information provided, I was able to confirm that according to "The Motley Fool's" Terms and Conditions listed below, rewards will be credited 45 days from the purchase date."
No specific date mention, but my purchase was Aug 5. Now I've got to decide if I want to cancel at the 30 day point and likely not get any miles for my $19 or let them bill me another month. I have not noticed any spam that can be attributed to them--if there is, it goes to my spam folder which I delete daily.

I get non-stop spam emails from them. The unsubscribe button doesn't seem to work. Heck of a deal for $19...

Has the offer gone back up to 7400 as I got an email from AA shopping portal and that's what it stated.

I've just had my 7400 AA miles removed from my account, I took out the yearly package the I cancelled after the points hit before 30 x days hot so full refund. Some you win, some you lose.

Pretty obvious they won't post automatically and we will have to chase after them.

T&C's now show 5000 miles, but only for annual sub's, -0- for monthly. I'm still waiting and it's been almost 2 months under the old T&C's.

I got this a few days ago

"We appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

I have confirmed that 45 days have passed from the purchase date. Since the reward for this order is rather large, it is our policy to investigate with the merchant to find out why it was not credited and attempt to obtain payment for the order in order to pass it back to you. Therefore, I am sending this order to be investigated immediately. Because a third party (The Motley Fool) will now be involved, we ask that you please allow 4-8 weeks for a definite resolution. However, we hope to have this issue resolved much sooner than that.

A representative will follow up with you periodically to let you know the status of your case. "

I did cancel my service with motleyfool

Sometimes the links take and other times they don't. I am not worried. It will just take a bit more effort to follow up and get the points.
