All my miles posted, all except for the bonus but I know it will be a few more weeks for that. Funny thing is I thought Autorenewed magazines were not eligible for the bonus because of what I read here and what I saw in the first page upon clicking on the AA link.
I made a $130 purchase on 12/1 for some magazine subscriptions that I was getting for some friends but I didn't notice that they were ALL Auto Renew subscriptions. I was going to cancel it immediately but i've been pretty lazy in doing that, lucky for me too. I looked at my AA account a few days ago and I saw the 12/1 bonus posted for a good 7,000+ AA miles. Very pleasant surprise.
I don't understand the problem with Cartera. I've always seemed to get my miles to post when I make the purchases on AA.

Pretty common knowledge for those that follow US Airways, and it has come up several times, I believe the last time this past December:

Even though promised by Cartera on FT that this would all be worked out by Magazines.com sending over a file of our transactions, still nothing has been posted to my account, Still missing the 15,000 miles for the purchase and the 3000 mile bonus for the holiday spend. I am so done with them. I should have heeded the warnings all of you had, but I had been ok in the past on AA with other smaller purchases from other vendors. I will now stick to my 5x Ink promos and Amex Gift card deals.
If there is not a Carterasucks.com website yet, there should be. I will be writing to the ripoff report next week when I have more time available. Repeated promises seem to ring hollow with them, month after month. Thank goodness it is not too late for a chargeback at this point, still have 25 days.

Just to add one more datapoint, I was not awarded all my miles because 2 magazines were deemed ineligible though they certainly were. I emailed Cartera and they requested a receipt and would look into it, no response was ever received, even after a second email. I cancelled the "ineligible" subscriptions, and 2 days later the miles were deducted from my account! So not only did I not earn any miles but LOST miles. I have emailed once again requesting my miles back and some explanation for the terrible service. I have never had so much trouble with Cartera before, 3 of 4 orders in the last 2 months are missing or incorrect. I'm so frustrated! Sorry for venting.

Same crap with different people, though my last 3 haven't posted and now almost 2 months later only 3 of 3 have posted after dozens of emails and tweets and contact through FT. Cartera is an absolute joke, I was always lucky in the past and never had an issue but after this I'll avoid unless there is something worth the huge hassle. Unfortunately both AA and AS are run by them

Well, my 1,800 or so miles have posted, but one of the subscriptions (to a weekly, of all things) is yet to start.

Well, I got my points, and I started to get my magazines...
I'm also getting the added "bonus" of more junk mail than I've ever seen in my life.
I believe I explicitly clicked the option to "not send promotional material"...and they said "we do not sell your information to others"
What gives?

I would happily take the junk mail in exchange for my missing 18K miles!! So tired of tracking this down, Mags will not reply after saying my purchase was valid, Cartera says the info is not in the data file Mags sent over. I have to say we were warned, but that carrot was so tempting, i could not pass it up.

It is easy: Cartera does not sell your info, but once you are subscribed to a magazine they (the magazine publisher) are free to do with your information as they please.

Finally got a response from Cartera. They said magazines.com is claiming my subscription is a "journal" and not eligible. Nowhere in the name or description of the magazine does it mention that it is a journal. I replied with that bit of information so hopefully they will make it right, but I'm not holding my breath. It seems like magazines.com might actually be more to blame here than cartera, but Cartera is ultimately responsible for making this right.

I swear, I'm more fearful of the private sector these days.

Still haven't had my miles post for second transaction and incorrect amount of miles that posted for first transaction hasn't been fixed yet either. Last heard from Cartera 12 days ago when they said they had the new data file and would post miles immediately...ha
